Next time DON'T buy a Frigidaire product. It is absolute GARBAGE!!! How does a durable good (an item that is supposed to last for at least 5 years) break down w/in the first 1 or 2 years??? Only poor quality items do that.

The touchpad has gone bad. common problem with most of the electronic dish washers out on the market today. Replace the touchpad console and you should be good to go.

I had the same problem, and replaced the the touchpad, about 4 months ago, and now I am having the same issue again. The washer is only about 2 years old and the touch pad is, as I stated earlier 4 months old. Is it worth replacing the touchpad again, or is this a problem that I am going to continue to encounter? May be worth just getting a different washer at this point.

Hi, I have a Frigidaire dishwasher, it has stopped working, when I put it on normal mode the "washing" light flashes but the machine does not start. Can anyone give some advice on how to fix? thanks,

Hello FJ, thank you for your inquiry!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher is not working and all it does is flash the "washing" light. It sounds like a possible problem with your keypad or control panel. I would suggest performing a reset on your dishwasher and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for at least ten minutes. If that does not correct your issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional technician for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help you from purchasing unnecessary parts. -Matt

FDB4315LFC2 runs then stops and flashes pf ?

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FDB4315LFC2, starts and then stops, and flashes a "PF" code when it stops. The "PF" code is stating that there has been a power failure. There could be a possibility that your dishwasher is losing power mid-cycle. I suggest checking your home's circuit breaker, the wiring to your dishwasher, and if you have a cut-off switch, checking that as well. I also suggest resetting your appliance, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. If further troubleshooting is needed, I ask that you please let me know the error codes displayed on your appliance. Hope this is helpful.

Frigidaire dishwasher fdbb2840ec0 cancel button doesn't work

Good Morning Friend,

I understand that the cancel button is not working on your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FDBB2840EC0. I also see that your appliance will start, but has to fully cycle before stopping, even though the start and cancel button are the same. I suggest resetting your dishwasher, by shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 20-30 minutes. Restore power and run any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

Dishwasher stops mid-cycle

Good Afternoon Mark, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

Based on the symptoms you are describing, it appears that your Frigidaire dishwasher may have a communication error from the main control board, faulty door latch or the timer itself may not be operating correctly. This is not a typical DIY job. However, before reaching out to an experienced appliance tech, first, double-check to ensure that the door is securely latching. If it is secure, reset the power to your dishwasher for roughly ten minutes. You can do this by flipping your circuit breaker into the off position. This usually does the trick. I hope these troubleshooting tips help you in some small way.

Frigidaire dishwasher starts then stops

Good Afternoon Friend,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dishwasher running for about a minute and then stopping. With this occurring, I would suggest resetting your appliance. You will do this by shutting the power off at the circuit breaker for at least 20-30 minutes. After power has been restored, make sure that your dishwasher door is fully closed and latched. If your dishwasher is still stopping after a minute, I would recommend contacting an authorized technician for further assistance. Hope this helps.

Frigidaire FFB240 dishwasher won't stop

Good Morning AA1970,

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dishwasher, model# FFB240, continuing to run unless you shut it off. While I'm not familiar with this particular model number, I suggest that you give the appliance a hard reset. You will do this by shutting the power off at the circuit breaker for at least 20-30 minutes. After restoring power, run the cycle. If it is still continuing to run unless you shut it off, I suggest contacting a local authorized technician for further assistance.

-Best Regards-

Frigidaire dishwasher not working

We had a similar problem,,,, if you reset the circuit breaker,,, may work, but if not, the dishwasher has a power/control board behind the front cover (6 large round screws) pull front cover off with handle and find smaller square cover,,under that is a board WITH POWER OFF remove board and look on back for a part that is discolored darker than rest of board,, you may or may not see it, this looks like a resister but believe it is a fuse,,, need to order new board from wherever,,, got mine from sears 160.00 worked and was cheaper than someone coming out to do the same thing for more money or buying a new dishwasher. good luck hope it works

Frigidaire dishwasher pld2855rfc stuck on lower rack, 65 mins, hi-heat temp and sanitize lights flashing
user manual above.
service and repair manual, above is the user manual.
Dishwasher Repair Guide: How To Fix a Dishwasher - ACME HOW
You need to use the service manual, work through, all the procedures, to isolate your problem, and repair. The DIY sites will also help

Also try to unplug and leave unplugged for 5 - 10 mins, and reconnect, this sometimes "Resets" it. Also it may NOT apply, but the Fix below regardless, works, many times, and is well worth a try.
Ok so your dishwasher won't do anything... it justs sits there and "Hums" you can't make it respond to any controls, and the ONLY way to Stop it. is to unplug the unit, replugging back in it simply "Hums" again and will do nothing.
Now this happens because, the STOP Button, is pressed and the "Door Opened", during the Wash Cycle. This should NOT be done. You shouldNEVER TURN IT OFF MID-CYCLE. you should instead, Simply, pull on the handle, to Open the door, the system will take care of everything, after, you close it,and pick up where it left off. The turning OFF, makes the machine "Think" that a New Cycle, is going to be done, before the old one is finished, and resets itself to do it all again. But it still has water, that's not meant to be there so it must dump it out.
Now, the FIX. Take the Dishwasher, out, and tip over on it's side, tip to about a 45' angle. Water will come out from underneath, this is from a small "Overflow" reservoir. this reservoir has an "Anti-Flood" switch. The removing of this water will "Reset" this Switch, and allow the dishwasher to work again.
So what happens, is this, when the STOP button is pressed Mid-Cycle, the machine must "Dump" whatever water is still in the machine, into the "Overflow Reservoir". This water then causes the Anti-flood switch to jam, and this stops the machine, until it is reset,by the above method.
