Check the Blade. If the Lift Area Behind the Sharpened Area of the Blade is Worn, then you will have the Problem you Described.

When using a bagger, you need correct blades on mower or Worn blades will cause the deck not to get the vacuum needed for the bagger to pickup.

Insert the rear plug if mulching is desired. The key to mulching is to mow the lawn frequently.You want to keep the mower deck height high enough to cut the grass and allow the mulching blades to work, but just low enough to actually cut the grass in a smooth uniform height. To low of a cut setting will clog the mower and create a mess. 2 times a week is a good frequency to start with.

There is a little arm on the wiper that the spring goes on if it missing you need a new arm. if it still ther you can get it on with needle nose pliers. you will have to take the arm off good luck
