Question about Maytag Dryers
I tried to clean the bunches of lint that had accumulated underneath the lint trap in my Maytad Neptune dryer MDE3000AYW. What I couldn't **** out with a vacuumn attachment, I tried to get out with a fluffy duster. I'm wondering if I jammed some of the lint down into the workings of the dryer or dislodged something, because when I tried to use the dryer it makes a horrible noise and starts to smell.
There is something caught up in the blower wheel. You will need to disassemble the dryer from the front to be able to get to the blower wheel housing to clear what ever you have jammed there and remove it. Everything is done through the front.
