Won't power on

Have you tried plutting it in directly to the power source with out the battery? If this works, it may be that the battery is dead, you can try to jump it by putting the battery in after it has already been turned on. Or just replace the battery:

If it does not power on, it could be the power cord is bad:

Otherwise, the unit itself may just be dead.

XMp3i is stuck on "powering

Bad TSOP flash chip. No way to fix without disassembling, removing the flash chip, and placing a new flash chip on it. Doing so requires a donor radio (with another issue), and will change your XM Radio ID. You'll also need to have a hot air (or IR) rework station for desoldering the old chip, and a soldering iron for placing the new chip on the radio.
I'd say give pioneer a call since it's a design flaw, and a VERY common issue. My best guess is that it's caused by excessive heat & defective chips.

Charges and powers on okay. MP3 and display work,. satellite radio does not play . stuck on "loading.."

Leave your radio on for a while, it may be updating the channels. To force an update, press the "Left" arrow, and enter a channel number (it must be a channel that your are not subscribed to)

Try playing satellite radio while docking. If you were docked, try undocking it. Try a factory reset + erase and upgrade the software (XM's website). And, if none of that works then you will need to call XM for a replacement.

Portable gex-mp3 gets stuck on powering up

The battery is definately the problem. I have seen many times in this device in particular - the battery shorts to ground - and causes the unit to malfunction.
VERY COMMON and recurring problem in the GEX-MP3

My spa3102 has a flashing orange light can not do a reset with phone or with computer what can I do.

You may just press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds with the Power cable connected, then leave the unit unplugged and wait for 1 minute and re-connect the power cable... Download 67.3 MB, re-install using the Utility... You can also try upgrading the firmware for PLK300..You can find the Upgrade tool with firmware on www.linksys.com/downloads.

1. Go to: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/support/PLK300/download 2. Download Upgrade Instructions 3. Download Quick Installation. 4. Download latest firmware upgrade 5. Do the Upgrade first. This will completely wipe out your security settings. -This is a good thing as you probably know. -Do the upgrade on all units (PLE300 and all PLS300s that you have. -For the 4 port PLS300 just plug right in to your router) 6. After firmware upgrade, follow the instructions in Qucik Installation TO A TEE. Do exactly what in says in the exact order it says.

Thanks for the RIAA and the record companies suing everybody, the answer is no.

XM radio express blank screen

I had the same problem with my Pioneer Inno Gex-Inno2BK XM radio receiver. One evening while leaving work, I gently took it out of the cradle & the screen suddenly went completely blank & all white. I could still hear music but there was no screen visible. Solution is this: (1) Gently remove the back cover which covers the battery. (2) Gently remove the dark blue square battery which is only about 1 inch (width) by 3/4 inch (height) by 1/4 of an inch in thickness. I removed mine by holding the receiver upside down & gently shaking the battery with one hand until the battery came out into my other hand. After about 4 or 5 gently shakes, it came out. (3) Wait about 15 seconds. (4) Place battery back into XM radio receiver being careful to line the copper power receptable on the battery with a corresponding surface inside the receiver. Each copper area is only about 1/10 of an inch by 1/10 of an inch. Use this as a guide when putting the battery back in to make sure it's lined up properly. (5) Gently slide the cover back in place & let it snap into place. (6) Turn receiver back on by pushing power button like normal. (7) XM receiver should boot up with a full display just like new. All recorded songs are still in place. Nothing has been lost. Problem solved. Root cause of problem is probably some type of boot-up issue with the receiver in which the battery (i.e., the power supply) just happened to be slightly ajar...which also persisted even when placing the receiver back in the cradle until the above steps were taken. The steps above worked beautifully for me...Hope it works for you as well! Have A Great Day...Tom Armstrong
