Question about BenQ FP71G 17" LCD Monitor
Radioactivet, A qualified technician will need to investigate the units "switch-mode-power-supply" for typical "faults" and locate the faulty (bad) component(s) that ma be causing monitor to act this way. "Noise" on the +5 volt DC rail going to the vga/lcd interface (processor) may be why display is acting "strange" with uncalled for pop-up's appearing!! That's the very first place I would investigate when dealing with ANY COLD-CATHODE-FLUORESCENT-LAMP, BACK-LIT LCD DISPLAY. 12fixlouie
