ok, if replacing the battery didnt solve the problem, try to check the battery slot and see if the connections for the battery are in tact...

How do i charge my psp battery

Plug the charger into the wall. Plug the other end into the spot on the PSP with the yellow outline. Check for an orange light. If it's on, let it charge until the light turns off. It it's not on check connection. If it's still no charging, take out the battery and put it back in. If it's still not charging remove the battery and try to turn it on. If it will no start, your PSP is bricked.

I charged my psp but there's no button lights . i power it on but it does'nt shows any light . what will I do?

Theres several possibilities on what happened. if you dropped it recently or something like that, you probably broke it; open it up or send it back if still under warranty. If its really old, then the battery may have lost its ability to retain a charge. Also, your charger may not be working properly.

I have a PSP that I charged overnight and a orange light came on when i plugged it in to the wall charger. After charging all night I went to power on the PSP and it will not power on, no green or orange...

Remove the battery.
Plug the PSP charger into the PSP.
Turn it on.

The PSP works with no battery inside.
If you're not getting a green light at all, your PSP has some sort of damaged as it should work while plugged in with no battery inside.

Power problems

Hi Gohan102,

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery.  Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light,  If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp.  If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment.  Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
