Question about Apple iPod nano
I have the latest version of itunes installed correctly. When I plug my nano in, i hear the usual sound for new device being plugged in, but no icon showing the device appears in 'my compter' and the device is not recognized in itunes. when i disconnect my nano, i hear the sound windows makes when a device is being removed.
If it has memory card you can see it in my computer as removable storage.
But if you are not able to see it then follow below.
First make sure your usb cable works fine.
Try another usb ports of computer.
Connect it to computer usb port then when you power up the computer press F8 key then enter in safe mode.
Go to device manager and uninstall all usb drivers 1 by 1.
Then restart computer then open my computer and check your driver letter.
If it is G:
then go to start menu->run type in G: then press enter.
Ifyou are still not able to open it then right click on driver icon thenclick on property then tools and disk checking .Enable both check boxfor recover error.
If sitll not work then when you power up thecomputer press F1 or F2 or "dle" key to enter in bios then go toadvanced menu and set USB legacy 2.0 enabled.
