Hello micky1965

Try holding down the eject button for at least 10 seconds after turning on the console. If that doesn't work (or you've already tried that). Try the following steps.

1. Unplug Wii from power outlet.
2. Plug in Wii again.
3. Press power button.
4. Press Eject button for at least 10 seconds.
5. If the disc doesn't eject try holding down the power button for 10 seconds and then the eject button again.

If that fails then either return the console to exchange for a new one or contact Nintendo consumer support. Info follows:

I wouldn't attempt to manually remove the disc (by trying to disassemble your Wii) as it may void your warranty. It could simply be a faulty console in which case Nintendo should replace it within 2 weeks (according to posts I've read). It seems to be a somewhat common problem.

If holding down the eject button doesn't work, there's really not much else you can do. Sometimes unplugging and replugging does the trick.

I've had problems with discs not ejecting and some combination of the steps I wrote above solved the problem.

How do you connect the wii to a dsi

Can You Use Nintendo DS With Wii?

The portable Nintendo systems, Nintendo DS, DS Lite, and DSi, are connectible with the Nintendo Wii system, much like the compatibility between Nintendo's Gameboy Advance and Gamecube video game systems.

  1. Purpose
    • Connecting the Nintendo DS, DS Lite, or DSi to the Nintendo Wii allows owners of these systems to use them to their maximum potential, as they take advantage of the Nintendo Wi-Fi connectivity. This allows you to use the systems simultaneously with certain Nintendo DS games.
    Connecting
    • To connect the Nintendo DS, DS Lite or DSi to the Nintendo Wii, the Wii needs to be connected to the Internet wirelessly either through a router or by the Wii LAN adapter. These Nintendo systems share a Wi-Fi connection, and this allows the portable Nintendo systems to connect instantly to the Wii via the wireless signal shared by the Wii and the Internet.
    Function
    • Once you have your portable Nintendo system and Nintendo Wii connected, the DS will act as a controller and allow you to play the DS game through the Wii system while maintaining the touchscreen and microphone capabilities of the portable system. Another function of the connection is that the Wii is able to expand the portable Nintendo system's games.
    Games
    • There are only a handful of portable Nintendo games that allow you to connect to the Wii, including the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl games, which allow players to use Pokemon accumulated via these DS titles to battle with in the Wii's Pokemon Battle Revolution game.
    Future
    • Nintendo has commented that there are plans of being able to download and play game demos to the portable Nintendo systems through the Wii's Nintendo Channel.

Trying to play nintendo on line. have a new wireless router/modem it is giving an error code of 52230 and says unable to connectg to server. any ideas?

Your nintendo consule without a technical malfunction should integrate to a network. The wii fii feature allows to network by wireless recognition of another consule on the network. The situation requires finding another consule owner to network with. Both consules would communicate by wii fii signals, only require recognising another consule owner that would allow device to device connectivity. keep in mind that, the error message is a computer message indicating a break in the link that could be created once another consule is recognised.

The error message would be intergrated into a network hub once each owner of the consule enable a feature on their device to accept communcation.

The wii fii feature only is advantage to the consule owner compared to connectivity that would have been performed by connection cables earlier in the invention of video gaming.

Advice
Find colleages with similar devices, inform them about wanting gaming network connectivity to allow possible network. keep in mind that, networking is a connection involvign entities where people are a requirement..

Your situation would be possible by human networking to make possible, device to device; that would only communicate when enabled features disabled.

How do I connect the Nyko wii remote to the wii?

You must first sync the remote and consul. To do this you take off the back of the remote then hit the red button.Their is a red button on the consul that you need to push at the same time then push the a button on the remote. If you are trying to hook up the old style Nintendo controller then you plug the controller in to the end of the wii remoute the same way you hook up the nunchuk.

Grandson put a ds game into the Wi where the disc

Does this unit have a tiny hole, similar to those found on CD or DVD drives, which allows the insertion of a large paper clip?

By pushing a straightened out paper clip into this hole, you can push with a certain amount of force, which will then allow the drive to open, and from there, you might be able to remove the disk from the ds game.

Good Luck,
-a.
