Got bakkie started revs increase but cannot maintain revs and then cuts out

You could possibly have an air leak in your intake, hense the engine cutting out at low revs. Check your piping from the air filter to the intake manifold, and also your intake sensor.
Unplug the sensor and if it does the same thing then thats your problem.

Engine cuts out when requiring boost

check Fuel pressure regulator by disconnecting the vacuum hose. Didn't say what year you have, yet the timing belt can also cause this as I had similar problems on an 87 and the belts were loose and floppy causing erratic firing/idling. A little easy trick to check timing belts without taking any parts off to get at timing belts, is (and no one knows about this one, hee) with a timing light!

Brand new battery keep's on dieing??new coil maybe, dunno, won't start.

Charge the battery and refit to the bike, start the engine and check that the charging system is working ok. Set multimeter to DC and check that it is charging between 12.5 - 14.8volts at a steady rate when revs increased steadily. If the voltage is not increasing or very erratic then it is a good indication that the regulator/rectifier is at fault. If the battery is charging well above the 14.8 then the battery is at fault.

Engine cuts out when given gas

if theres nothing wrong with it you should close the choke between half and quarter (depends on the engine) and gently rev the engine bit by bit till it warms up, you will find the revs increase with gas to a point but if you give it any more gas it will start to stall and cut out, you have to wait for it to warm up - by keeping the gas at the sweet spot where you get best revs without it cutting out - then slowly increase gas pressure as the engine warms up - you can press it a little bit more bit by bit as the engine warms up and the combustion gets better - eventually you will be able to press the gas fully kin and the engine will just run but sound bogged down or gasping for air - this is when to open the choke to the RUN position (or fully open) --- it's now ready to use.
To restart a hot engine when it's been stopped : 1 Prime the engine - 3 squirts - (you wont flood it - plus it lubricates the top of the cylinder with fresh 2 stroke and is good for the engine) 2 Hold gas a quarter way open 3 Pull cord! as soon as it fires give it an extra squeeze of gas to give the best chance of a clean start.

Pressure washer hesitates, does not start. Unable

get someone to keep the trigger pulled while you try to start it , its probably got presure trapped between the trigger and the pump.

alternatively turn off the water to the pump, pull the trigger to release any pressure trapped.

start the engine , allow engine to warm up, increase revs on engine then turn on water, should be ok then. Unless you have a problem with the engine that is!

Engine dies / cuts out when cold

Check the coolant temperature sensor. It is situated in the inlet manifold at the back of the engine bay. This basically acts like an automatic choke and tells the ECU to increase fuel mixture when the engine is cold.  I replaced many many of these to Renaults, Peugeots and Citroens for this exact fault.

Et2 Cutting out and not maintaining revs

There is an adjustment screw on the carburetor facing towards the back wheel. You have to reach down about finger length. With the engine running and the ET2 on its stand, turn the screw until the engine revs up to a level you r happy with.

Happy scooting
