When water spills into a notebook, you should fully disassemble the notebook & thoroughly inspect its inside. Look for any traces of liquid on the circuit boards & on other components. On circuit boards, liquid damage appears in the form of whitish traces. These needs to be wiped off. This can be done using a tooth brush moistened with few drops of hand sanitizer liquid.
Check all internal connectors & make sure that no liquid seeped into them. Dry them if needed.
When you are done, re-assemble back the notebook.
If the liquid fell on the keyboard & you found out that the keyboard is no longer working, then you might have to replace the keyboard.

Some keyboard button not workin on dell laptop

Did you spill any liquids into the keyboard? If you did you may have damage the keyboard PCB and it will need to be replaced. One thing you can try to do is to first take a picture of the keyboard so you know where the keys go back to that you removed. Then use a small screwdriver to remove the non-functioning keys. Be very careful and do not use too much force or you may damage the key. Inspect the inner buttons and see if they are sticking. You can use a cotton swab or q-tip and rubbing alchohol to try and clean the inner part of the keyboard. Sticky liquids can cause the inner keyboard buttons to stick and mal-function. If the keyboard PCB is damaged you can either replace the keyboard or buy a usb keyboard to use on the laptop. The OS should recognize the keyboard after you plug it in.

Ipod trauma

Hi chelia,

I am sorry to hear about your iPod. Unfortunately, neither the manufacturer's warranty nor 2-year extended replacement plan cover liquid damage.

The unit may still be repairable. You will want to use Apple's Online Service Assistant to find out the repair options available to you and the cost. Depending on the extent of the liquid damage, it may make more sense economically to just replace the product.

Best Regards,
Ken
