Sounds like you will need to clean your carburetor.
Sometimes you can get by with priming it a few times, and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
If the mower is over a couple years old, then I also recommend that you buy and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, You will first seat the jet screws and count the number of turns it takes to seat the jets from their original position.
That way when you go to put the jets back in, you know how many turns they were in/out.
Please do not forget to rate me, Thanks
Good Luck, I hope this helped

Rebuild kits are based on the machines model & serial #, not the carburetors numbers. the carburetors numbers only come into play if you are looking for parts at a non-dealership shop. Find a Cub Cadet dealer, and give them the model & serial of the tractor. They can then find the right kit for your carburetor...

Gwm steed 5 2.2mpi it takes time to start cranking but it can't there but once u press accelerator it start where is the problem?

Engine idle speed needs to be set up more on the throttle linkage. Run the screw on the carburation end in a little at a time to open the butterflies in the venturis a little so it's getting SOME air with the gas going in.

Carburator choke wont set on 1984 honda hatchback when pumping the gas pedal. car wont stay running

Most carburated engines you don't pump the gas pedal, you slowly press it all the way to the floor one time and release it, then you attempt to start it. The problem that you are describing is an indication that the carburetor needs to be rebuilt. The choke plate has a latching mechanism that is connected to a heater coil, if there is excess wear on the parts or the heater is bad, it has to be replaced

Wont start sometimes, only when i pour gas into the intake manifold. and then cant keep it started. only stays running by lightly tapping the accelerator

it sounds like there is no fuel getting to intake.
when you step down on accelerator, it is designed to squirt a shot of fuel into the intake, which would keep it running for a few seconds. same as pouring gas down intake.

you never stated if you had carburation or injection system, in either case no fuel is getting through on its own.
which could be a variety of problems depending on which system you had.

Ryobi problems

Yes sir it is. You need to adjust the carburetor. Unless you have an adjustment tool you'll have to take it somewhere to have this done.

Runs good idle but when give gas cut off

sounds like a carburation problem to me
(1)
may be your choke is not switching off when you push the lever
and is seized where it joins the carburetor
get some light oil and lubricate the cable and take the choke mechs apart and clean it up then reassemble
(2)
cracked inlet manifold carburetor (connecting pipe)
it sounds like a damaged air filter or a cracked inlet manifold

if it is a cracked manifold
a quick get you home trick is to remove your carburetors
get 4 condoms put the condoms over the inlet manifold
cut holes in the end to refit your carbs
reassemble the bike
to get you home on the way home call in at your local motorcycle spares shop and order some new inlet manifolds

order a new air filter while you are there as well

hope this helps out

Your carburation is dirty. Remove the carbs, clean, adjust float and re-install. Should be fine.

Stale Fuel in gas tank

go to any auto parts store and get one of the products they have to remove the gum in the carburator and line. Some of the products are simply poured into the gas tank along with some fresh gas. good luck.
