Start with a deep clean and oil. check tensions, top and bottom-stitch should "lock" inside the fabric. make sure you use same thread on bobbin as on the machine. Check needle for nicks or bent. Make thread is threaded correctly, passing through upper tension plate. check tension plate(upper) for rust or lint.

My machine is noisy seems stiff and the thread is bunching underneath bobbin case seems loose

It may need a cleaning and lubrication to resolve the noise and stiffness.
as to the thread bunching on the bottom, try re-threading both the top thread and the bottom thread, if it persists, try a different bobbin, (the one your using may not be wound properly, it happens) If it still persists try a new needle. if all of this fails, take the machine to a reputable service facility, it usually helps to take a sample stitching to show them exactly what it's doing to you,

Good luck and happy sewing!

I just bought a brand new Brother XL 2600I and it was working great for the first day , next morning i change the thread to actually sew not just test strips . I keep getting bunches of thread or if i

Most likely your top thread is not threaded correctly. Unthread and rethread. Check with your manual to make sure you have threaded correctly. Thread bunching up on bottom indicates top thread is threaded wrongly.

Broken and bunched thread on back of fabric

try changing the needle
also try adjusting the top thread tension and see if that helps
make sure the top thread has not come off the thread take up lever
also the machine may need to be checked for a timing problem.

Thread is bunching up on bottom. I have cleaned the machine, am using Madiera thread, new needle. I have a quilters choice, and have never had a problem before. I am working with lace and batiste.

My thread is bunching up on bottom of fabric and loose on the top, not sure when I am embroidering on my Baby Lock Essante machine, it just started, why?

Top thread bunches under the project and machine makes loud noises then finally stops

Take out all the thread and re thread from scratch. I suspect bad threading.

Keeps "birdnesting", besides rethreading, how do I fix?

when you have bunching on the bottom, you have a problem with the top thread: no tension. (and visa versa) Make sure the thread runs through the tension discs, these discs are activated when you put the presser foot down, so you want to thread the machine with the foot up, also feel if there no burrs, hooks, or whatever, so your top thread comes smooth off the spool, no jerking.
