Question about Monte Carlo (5LCR52MW) Fan

Open Question

Recently purchased a house with two Monte Carlo Grand Am ceiling fans. Apparently Lowes sold these a few years ago. One of the fans has a receiver and wall unit that allows blades to reverse. The other does not, and I cannot find a manual switch on the fan/motor. Anyone know if there is one hidden? The company has been zero help. Thank you!

SOURCE: The pull chain for the light on my Monte Carlo

Well, you can take it down and replace the switch. Most decent hardware stores have generic internal switches. You could unscrew the bulb a little every time you want it off.
You could mount a wall switch for the unit and live with the fan and light always being on at the same time.
The pull-switch is not too difficult to replace, just seems scary. disconnect the unit from all power and do the work at the table.
Keep all fasteners in order of removal, and make notes or label parts with tape as you disassemble. Take a picture of the switch when you get it open and show it to the person at the store. Bring home the new switch and swap it in one wire at a time.
Reassemble, remount, and sew on your DIY achievement patch:) Farmerbear at FixYa.com

SOURCE: Where could I buy the

If you go to Monte carlo's website, www.montecarlofans.com, and in the upper right hand side of the screen there is a search bar. If you search for your model number you will realize that they discontinued that model of fan. They won't have a motor for a discontinued fan unless they use the same motor for another model fan (not likely), but I took the liberty to call and find out for sure. The answer is no, they are discontinued. Sorry, but looks like you need a new fan.

Monte Carlo ceiling fan and light not working

Even a brief power outage can cause amnesia in the receiver. You can try disconnecting power at the source and spending a few minutes removing the battery from the wall-mounted remote and pressing all buttons to eliminate the 'stuck button' problem. Reinstall the remote battery and reconnect main power to the unit. Test operation.
Lastly, there always is the possibility that some gremlin changed your original control setup.
