If your oil is at the correct level, then the oil level sensor is not working correctly. If your oil level is low, then you need to fill it to the correct level

I have a Winner 108 pressure washer. I think it's owned by Karcher. I was dismantling it to get the faulty run capacitor out, and when i pulled the housing off, it leaked out about 50ml of oil. What o

The oil is there to lubricate the pistons as they are pushed by the swash plate. This oil is usually normal multi- grade engine oil. In bigger machines, grade 90 oil is used. If you are not sure, get some multi-grade and 90 oil, and test with your hand. It should be very easy to see the difference. When filling, see that at least the pistons with the springs are getting wet with oil. Important not to overflow the oil. This overflow, might cause pressure and oil will get out of the seals and mix with the water. On the other hand, the seals must be renewed once you opened the oil side. This because water can enter through the seals and mix with the oil.

I have a K 3.98 mr. it starts motor runs but no water comes out.

Either the SWASH PLATE got loose or the intake and suction valves are damaged. The Swash Plate is an inclined disc that rotates and make the pistons go up and down...pumping water. In your case I suspect a lot it is the Swash Plate. This takes a qulified person to change. Unless you have the tools and know how.
Thanks,
Fulltech.

How to put oil back into the Karcher water pump

You need to remove the pump and sit it brass side up before removing the bolts holding the brass to the aluminum part (you have to do it that way so the oil doesn't spill out.) CAUTION: there is some spring tension on the brass head.

Take the brass head off and set to the side on a rag or in a bucket. Dump out whatever oil is in the oil side, making sure not to drop the swash plate or bearing (the pieces sitting in the oil). Fill the oil end with aproximatly 4.5 ounces of Karcher pump oil, (or just 20w 50 weight non-detergent oil). Put the brass head back on and tighten bolts. Put the pump back on the machine.

If this helps please rate.

MTD 42 inch hydrostatic drive lawnmower

1...first and foremost check the fluid level and top off with mobil 1 full synthetic 20w50 oil,
2...check the the engine pulley for wear
3...check idler arm spring tention.
inside yout transmission is a center pump section and swash plates and a set of 6-8 pistons , if dirt is allowed into the transmission it causes severe wear to these parts

my recomendation would be to dissasemble the transmission and inspect the pump center section and swash plates for wear....look for tiny scratches on the bearing surfaces, if it is worn then replace parts as needed. these worn parts will cause the transmission to "growl" or as you say "grind"

My 24o0 pressure washer pump has failed. Unbolted

Dear 1tindy,
You asked what the trick is. Well it is a trick, and in fact a big hasle. When a pump has failed it is never removed from the engine or from rhe electric motor(if electric motor driven.). To service the pump only the head and its components must be removed. When these are removed and the oil drained, you see a swash plate that is held down by a bolt. The swah plate could also be fitted by force fitting. After the swash plate there is an oil seal then a bearing. So if for a reason you must remove the pump from the engine you must do all these steps. In a few words....Remove head, remove piston holding head, drain oil, remove swash plate and finally the pump can be pulled away, but with some force,..because there are bearings. I wish to repeat that if the engine has no trouble, do not remove pump from engine. Just service or replace parts of the head of the pump.
Regards,
Fulltech.

Where can i put lubricating oil for karcher jet wash machine

It sounds like you are referring to the oil in the swash plate housing. You can use a multi grade motor oil such as 20w50 or 10w40. Fill to about half way over the swash plate. If the old oil has gone amilky colour, please replace the oil seals first.
