Question about Panasonic Lands Phones
KXTD816 super hybrid telephone system has gone "dead"; lost connection with Comcast service; no dial tone on either line. Manual suggests reset button, but cannot locate.
Good thing. You probably don't need to know. Try powering the system down, and power it back up. Watch the lights as it comes up.
Do you get a solid light on the lower right side of the cabinet? Now see if you can dial intercom to intercom calls. Press one of the line buttons and see if it lights up. If it does, I'd be looking for dial tone at the telco interface. Those are RJ-14 jacks (2 lines per plug).
P.S. The reset button you don't want to press is on the lower right side of the cabinet. If the switch is in the wrong place, you'll trash the memory.
