Take the LCD to any TV/video repair-store, and get a qualified technician to trouble-shoot it.

There are no "user-serviceable" parts inside an LCD monitor.

So, if you've replaced the power-cable, with no improvement,

there's nothing more that you can do, except to suspect that

the ON/OFF switch is not working, and then to take the monitor

    to a qualified technician.

When you do turn it on, do you hear anything,

such as a quiet "buzzing" of the power-supply,

    or "crackling" of high-voltage arcing?

    Do any lamps light up?

    Do you smell anything burning?

SOURCE: Ghosting on DELL 2007WFP

Make sure that cable connections are securely fastened to the connectors and try reaseating the connectors. If connecting a device using component cables, make sure all three color-coded cables are connected correctly into the corresponding connectors.
Check the condition and length of the cables. Cables that are longer than 3 meters (10 feet), become more susceptible to promoting signal degredation (small dots "sparkling" on the screen and image ghosting). Cables that have been bent or pinched may also cause picture quality problems. Replace the cable or try a different cable type.

SOURCE: dell 19" monitor screen turns blank

i had same problem, fault was traced using a multimeter set to diode measurement, i found that one of the high power switch transistors in the inverter side of the power board was short circuit (there are four in the same area sticking up from the board, not surface mounted). normally they should measure 450 ish but when they read 0-010 its gone, pulled it out of circuit and remeasured it, gone, replaced and fixed.

SOURCE: Dell 1704 FPt lcd monitor power button blinking green, no screen.

the only thing you can do, is to get a qualified service technician if you are not an electronic expert. because the problem is in your power supply and inverter board. due to heat pressure inside can damage components specially capacitors.

I'm sorry to hear that you have a problem with your monitor. There are a few things you can try. If these won't work, probably something fried from the inside that killed the monitor. First of all, try disconnecting the power cable from the monitor, if this is possible. If the powercable is hardwired (meaning you can't disconnect it from the monitor itself) to the monitor, unplug the cable from the wall. Reconnect and see if this works. This worked with a monitor i had that had this kind of problem. If it's still not working, and the powercable isn't hardwired into it, try a different cable. If this doesn't work, the LCD bulb might have gone bad, and needs a replacement. You can find usefull tutorials on the web how to do this. If you can, check everything inside. If something fried, it's dead, if nothing is wrong, the LCD bulb has gone bad and needs a replacement. I hope i helped you, if you can't do this yourself, please go to a computer repair centre and let them take a look at it, and i hope this problem gets fixed fast!

The monitor is a Dell? UltaSharp 2007WFP 20.1 Inch Flat Panel Monitor. I Tried everything. different power cables, DVI cables, VGA cables, disconnecting everything and reconnecting. NOTHING WORKS. I even...

Not sure if this is your problem, but I have seen this with another Dell monitor on three separate occasions. The solution I found was to turn off at the wall power socket, unplug at the wall socket, plug back in, turn on at socket etc and everything was fine. Guess something hangs up somewhere.

Dell Inspiron 531 (desktop) won?t turn on/boot

You've either got a bad motherboard or a bad processor (I'd lean to the motherboard being bad). I would honestly take this into a computer repair shop and have them check both.

Will not turn on. i have tried different outlets different cords and different computer.. it will not turn on

There are no "user-serviceable" parts inside a LCD monitor.

So, all you can do is to take it to a qualified TV/video technician, for trouble-shooting. Or, just responsibly recycle it, and buy a new one. Some stores may give you a "trade-in" on the old one, because the LCD screen itself may be OK, i.e., the problem is in the "electronics".

Dell 20 inch lcd monitor 2007WFP

Yes, If you have it sent in for repair they may be able to do it. Geek Squad would not be able to do it in the store. Although in most cases it is more costly then a new monitor. If it is still under warranty I would try and do it that way.
Good luck,
