Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

Open Question

My Dad lives in Wisconsin, I live in Idaho. He's doing a great job learning how to use his new computer and printer scanner. However, he'd like to scan something and e-mail it to me and he's not sure how to do it. Could you please send step by step instructions for his HP Officejet 4325v All-in-One so I can go over the process with him. I have an hp psc 2175xi all-in-one and the process does not seem to be the same, but maybe I'm wrong about that. Thanks for all you help! Karis Kramer

CLX-3160fn Samsung's website is basically useless. When trying to find a service center I am shown a place in Georgia........problem being I live in Wisconsin.

Sometimes, searching on a manufacturer's website can be a frustrating experience. If you need repair service for a specific brand, try doing a Google search for an company authorized sales or repair center. More often than not you will come up with a solution that is local to your area as opposed to out of state.

In your case, Wisconsin Imaging Solutions Data Management Group is certified as a Samsung Authorized Sales, Service & Warranty Repair Center

The web address is:

Their phone number is : (262) 784-5000 or

you can email them at:

Their location in Wisconsin:

17020 W Glendale Dr
New Berlin, WI 53151

I don't know where you are exactly located in Wisconsin but this is definitely closer than Georgia. I hope this is helpful to you. Thanks for using FixYa.

I have an Epson SX425W that just had a paper jam. I have turned off the printer, removed all of the scrunched up paper, and then turned the printer back on, but it keeps giving the message of Error E-01. I...

After 5-6 days of this issue really **** me off, ive found the problem.Lift up the scanner lid, move the printer heads/cartridge holder to the left. Look at the white and black printer head thing down there in the gap, it is not sitting correctly in its position, use a small screw driver or pen to re-sit this thing. It should sit nice and snug rather than all wobbly like mine was. Just a small push or poke should do the job. Email me at should you require further assistance.

I dont have the on screen manuals in order to use my Canon Mp210 scanner The printer and scanner are all in one. I put a photo or document in the scanner and turn it on, it seems to be on and ok, except I...

To get the manual go here: .

Drivers and software for supported OS versions are available here: . If you want the scanner to work when you press the buttons on the unit, you will need the MP Navigator.

If you connected the USB cable and got a generic driver, uninstall that driver and then disconnect the USB cable before installing the software from the above site. This generic driver usually only runs the printer.

There is a monitor program that listens for button presses on the all-in-one. This must be running to scan from the unit. However, the software must be set up with destinations and default settings before the MP Navigator will work with those buttons. Thus you should first launch the software from the computer and learn the resolution and other details to set as your defaults. Place documents face down on the glass or face up in an Automatic Document Feeder.

If you have some versions of Windows, you can acquire scans if the basic Canon driver is installed without the full Canon software. For XP, Vista and Win7, Paint will work - File > Import from Camera or Scanner > New Scan. Vista and Win7 both have Windows Fax and Scan (New Scan). Vista includes Photo Gallery which also imports from the scanner. (For Win7 this is part of the Windows Live free download but isn't preinstalled.)

I hope this helps.

Scanner 5 Error Printer in shop but unable to get new parts

The solutions for this are posted elsewhere on this site, look for "Scanner Error 5". Basically, it's one of several things that can be cleaned or adjusted without having to replace the entire scanner head. If it does need parts they should return the printer to you until the parts are available. This error does not prevent you from printing. Even though the printer shows the error message and tells you to cycle the power, you don't need to. It will still print with this error. Find a repair shop with someone who knows what they are doing, or get a #10 Torx screw driver and fix it yourself.

Read the other thread. Could be dirty mirrors, dirty or crooked film sensor strip, or bad light bulb, all of which can be easily repaired.

HP Officejet 5610 All-in-one Installation trouble

I used the live chat feature on HP's website. They guy I talked to reminded me very simply that the disk I was using to try and install the printer software did not support Windows Vista, which i what my computer is operating. He gave me a website and I downloaded and installed the Vista version of the printer software. I works perfect now!

(I'm sorry I can't remember the software, but live chat is great and they should be able to give it to you right away if you ask for it. Or you could always google it)

Solution --> ERROR 0082" name="Note" /> Phaser 790 / DocuColor 2006 Printer's: Cancel print job and cycle the printer's power

  • On the printer's Control Panel, press the Cancel Key (12 KB).
Note: The READY message may only appear briefly. You may need to keep repeatedly pushing the CANCEL key.
  • If the error message persists, turn the printer off for at least 30 seconds and remove the computer interface to the printer (17 KB) before turning the printer back on.
  • Use the menu keys to perform a front panel reset (under RESETS menu).
  • If the printer redisplays the error message upon reboot, a file is likely STUCK at the front of the print queue. Use the front panel RESETS menu to CLEAR LOGS AND QUEUES, which will delete all print jobs in the printer's disk spool.
Note: The READY message may only appear briefly. You may need to keep repeatedly pushing the MENU key to gain access to the front panel menu.
  • If the front panel menus can not be accessed turn the printer off for 30 seconds and then turn the printer back on.
  • If it is known which print job was last sent to the printer, try to reprint the last job spooled, which may be the cause of the error. Step 4 on clearing logs and queues may need to be repeated to eliminate the crashing job.
Note: Most XX82 or XX1E front panel error messages are NOT hardware related, but caused by a specific print job or application.
