Question about Refrigerators
I purchased a used Daewoo refrigirator's couple of days back. The seller showed me it that it is working fine when I went to see it but when I went to take the delivery he had switched it off. I brought it home left it unplugged for 1-2 days. When I switched it On it started to cool but the cooling was not that much. In next 1-2 days I observed that the freezer is cooling but not the lower compartment. If I switch it off for 8-10 hours it starts to cool (not very cool though) but after a day or two the lower compartment becomes hot again. The freezer also is not that cold to completely freeze meat and other stuff. Please help
Sounds like you need to replace the ptc overload on the compressor as this component supplies start and run power to the compressor and its getting weak and short cycling the compressor, they just unplug and plug into the side of the compressor and when you remove it shake it by hand and if you hear it rattle thats a good sign its bad
