Question about Televison & Video
My technika 26'' lcd tv takes ages to warm up, it takes longer than an old valve set,
20 minutes, but once on its a lovely picture and no problems until it is switched off and then switched back on again then have to wait another twenty or so minutes,
whats wrong with it,i cant see any dry joints or loose wires,
its about two years old now,
thanks for any help given
The reason maybe a bad capacitor that is taking time to charge up to the nominal voltage. check for capacitors (electrolytic) in the power section (probably smps). it may appear bulgy than the others.
