The reason maybe a bad capacitor that is taking time to charge up to the nominal voltage. check for capacitors (electrolytic) in the power section (probably smps). it may appear bulgy than the others.

Technika troubleshooting how can I go about fixing pink lines on my technka television, The lines are constant and then the full picture begins to go light pink and becomes impossible to use?

I doubt you will be able to fix that problem yourself since its a modulation out of sync in a device which I'm familiar with, but I forgot the technical name. Usually all TV's will sooner or later have that problem with age. It's good money down the drain, because once a TV has picture problem of such it inherently causes other problems. The device is made of many adjustable rheostats which takes time tuning (color mixtures).
You'll never get it back to factory specs. Best to forget about it and buy a new TV, a word from someone who's gone through the hassle more than once. Besides if your TV is more than 10 years old, the part will no longer be stocked or available.

Technika 26" tv - lcd26-229

you should be able to do a code search for the universal remote.. once that is done the two should be linked.. if not you need to use the buttons on the tv itself..

Can a 20 year old date a 14 or 15 year old

5 - 6 years difference is ok, once both parties are about 26 and 21. But a 20 year old dating a 14 year old is not to cool. Ether way, older boy or girl, there is a since that the older one can't communicate on their own level. If the younger of the two is far more mature for their age they will miss things that happen when dating a person of their own age. The mom and dad of the younger of the couple will loose some control; being the older one will feel as they can handle things on an adult level. It will be hard to set boundaries that the older one will stick with, but the younger should live by. Such as in by a set time, homework, projects for school. The older of the couple will push for their time "alone" which will take from the younger of the two tending to their duties. Sorry, put your foot down and save a lot of drama in your future, just say "NO, NO, NO".

42" LCD TV leaves marks on screen following using

This is a defective LCD display panel. It will cost as much as a new set unless your still within the 1 year warranty. As far as cleaning the screen, you can use an old t-shirt by spraying a little windex on the shirt and wiping gently up and down or left to right but never in a circular pattern. I found it best to do this after the set has been on for 15 minutes to warm up the surface then shut the set off and give a clean.

The remote control for our Technika lcd 26-207 doesn't work.

Hi,

Sounds like maybe the remote receiver on the tv itself has gone faulty if a replacement remote doesn't work.

Blurred picture, after some warm-up it back to clear picture

If the problem doesn't return after the picture becomes normal, then it could just be due to the electron gun taking longer to fire up. I don't know how old your TV is, but TVs older than ten years typically take longer to warm up than more modern sets.

Extremely long warm up time 25 minutes. ok once it comes on.

Just a shot in the dark- I think your main projection lamp is going bad- If the set is more than a year or 2 old it can happen. Unfortunately they are a little expensive.
How is the brightness level after it warms up??
