When cut on, the letter "E" comes up on the far left side, with a "0" on the far right, but you can press any key and nothing happens, no paper feeds, nothing? what to do?

If the print carriage is stuck on the far left, gently try to turn the gears a few turn and if you are lucky enough the print carriage will go back to the right.

This is what I did and it is working fine now.

One thing importan, be "gentle" it is easy to break.

You need to set your decimal selection to full-floating if you expect any numbers to be more than 4 decimal places.

Each time you press the DEC key it changes the decimal selection. From F to 0, 2, 3, 4 and A in that order. F is "full floating" but appears as a blank on the screen. A is the "add-mode" for currency transactions. The "A" does show on the screen if this is your selection.

As soon as the letter for the number of decimal places you want ("F" is blank just before 0 decimals) appears on the screen you are "ready to go." Problem is, the decimal indicator numbers and letters are so tiny and screen is so difficult to read that under many lighting conditions your selections might be all but invisible. They are in the upper left side of the screen just to the right of the equally difficult to see multiplication and division rounding indicator "5/4." PS If the 5/4 does not appear on your screen then you have set the round-off function to not available.

I can solve y your numbers on your computer arent working. If your trying to use the numbers on the right side of your computer, just press number lock to unlock them so that u can use them properly!!!!!

make sure that there is nothing sticky in your calculator. It's likely that you got something sticky in there and now the pin that you would push down when you push the key is permently down. So if you can kinda try to make it not stick then your set. If it's a teqnical problem then it's time to buy a new calculator. I just went and bought a ti 84 silver and it's great. Best of luck
