Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
The h3 code means the fuser isn't heating up. You can try and clear the code by pressing in order clear then interrupt then zero key, then interrupt again. The display should go balnk. Enter 14 and hit start. Then hit CA. This should reset the code and allow the machine to try and warm up again. If the code comes back you will need parts replaced.

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

H3-00 means there was a problem in the fuser unit of the copier - a temperature problem. The correct temperature is not reached within a certain time.
It could be a thermostat or thermistor problem - both monitor temperature. you could remove the fuser unit and make sure these items are clean - no build up on them. there should be a center and side thermistor.
You can reset the error code in SIM mode by pressing the following keys one after the other "P" "interupt" "C" "interupt" then 14 and start/copy key. confirm if required. make sure the copier is restarted afterwards.
If the error persists then you may need new thermistors.
Hope this helps.
