Can't print anything from the software

    None of the worksheets will print and yes, I can print out of all other DOS and Windows based programs

How do you cancel print jobs in Windows 7?

2. Right-click the printer whose job you want to cancel, and select See what's printing from the context menu.

3. The print queue will pop up. Right-click the runaway print job, and then click Cancel from the context menu.

How may i print for Both Side Printing?


Hi,

Both side printing depends on the printer. It's a feature which require a hardware in the printer known as Duplexer. Which automatically turns the paper and prints on the other side. Some printer may not come with duplexer but if they support duplex printing, you can but the duplexer for the specific printer and attach it at the back of the printer.

If your printer supports duplex printing, when you click on print, click print preferences as shown in the fig 1 below.

Click on finishing tab >> put a check on Print on both sides under document optoins section

Click Ok to close the preferences window

Click Ok to send the print job to the printer

Sir good evening i have cash regester casio 160cr.Error code is e94 pls help how i can run my cash regester thanks.


I suggest you to reset your equipment.Here is how:
Remove AA batteries and unplug register from wall for 15 minutes.

Two more options;
Option #1:
To print the transaction details before clearing the journal memory:

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not interrupt once printing begins or the journal will not be cleared.

1. Make sure the paper is full in the register.
2. Turn to Z mode.
3. Hit the RC key until the screen displays "E94".
4. Hit Cash Amount Tender.

Once the printing is completed, the journal is cleared and the register is ready for use.

Option #2:
To clear the journal memory WITHOUT printing the transaction details:

1. Turn to Z mode
2. Hit RC key until the screen displays "E94 Clear"
3. Hit Cash Amount Tender

Turn off the RAM disk on the printer.

Follow these steps:

Troubleshooting steps

1.
Verify that the formatter light is blinking or steady. If the formatter is blinking, it is functioning properly and probably does not need to be replaced. If the formatter light is not blinking, proceed to Step 2.
2.
Turn off the printer and unplug the power cord.
3.
Remove the HP Jetdirect card, third-party device, hard disk, parallel cable, or IFR cable from the formatter if one is installed.
4.
If the error continues with accessories removed from the formatter, perform a cold reset on the printer. Ensure the HP Jetdirect card is not in the printer during a cold reset or the card settings will be changed back to default settings. To perform a cold reset, do the following:
1.
Turn on the printer.
2.
Watch the control panel.
3.
When the memory starts counting, press and hold the green (Select ) button.
4.
Continue holding the green check button until the Ready, Data, and Attention lights flash once, and then stay on steady.
5.
Release the check button when the Ready, Data, and Attention light are on steady.
The control panel will display SELECT LANGUAGE .
6.
Press (Down Arrow ) button once. The control panel will display COLD RESET
7.
Press (Select ). The printer will perform a cold reset and then continue its power-on sequence.

If the printer comes up to ready, print a Configuration page. If a 49 error occurs from printing internal pages, continue on to the next step.

Turn the printer off and unplug the power cord.
7.
Remove the eight screws around the formatter.
8.
Remove the formatter. See Figure 1.
9.
Reseat the firmware and memory modules on the formatter. Check for any DIMMs that are non-HP and remove them. Non-HP DIMMs are not supported by HP and may cause this error. Replace with HP DIMMs, if necessary.
10.
Reseat the daughter (interconnect) board. The daughter board is connected to the formatter behind EIO slot #1. To release the daughter board, push in the black retaining tab underneath the formatter then lift up the one side of the daughter board.
11.
Reseat the daughter board.

12.
Install the formatter.
13.
Turn the printer on again.
14.
If it comes up to READY , print a configuration page. If a 49 error does not appear from printing internal pages, or at power up, continue to the next step.

Install the HP Jetdirect card and hard disk before installing the formatter. Verify that each device is properly seated.
16
Test any EIO devices, by turning off the printer, installing each device separately, and printing a Configuration page. Repeat for each EIO device.

If the 49 error occurs with any EIO device installed, replace that EIO device.

I cannot print from my computer. There seems to be printing locked in my printer .this is blocking me from printing any documents from on line


Until you are part of domain network or nothing new installed related to firewall printing might not be blocked. You can check for 2 things to make sure software side is not of problem
1. Printer driver is installed ( to check go to start->settings->printer and faxes and see if the printer driver is listing there or not, if it is there make sure that one is your default printer)
2. Print spooler service is running or not. ( If you are not able to find any drivers in printer and faxes, then for sure you print spooler service is not running, to start print spooler click on start->go to run-> type "services.msc" and hit enter, on the right side of service window search for print spooler service, double click and click on start to start the spooler service.

If above doesnt solve the problem, check followings

1.Make sure all cables are connected proper and there are no loose ends on both side, printer and computer side.
2. Make sure there are no errors on printer ( led's indicating error message)
3. If in network, make sure proper IP address and proper driver is installed and you are able to reach the ip address by pinging. ( goto run->type cmd>hit enter> type ping followed by ip address, it should generate reply )

1. Press [AC]
2. Hold [SET/%] key for about 2 seconds
3. Press [TAX+]
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [SET/%]


Printing models (except HR-8TE):

1. Have calculator in "print" mode
2. Press [CA]
3. Hold [SET/%] key for about 3 seconds
4. Input the tax rate
5. Press [TAX+]
6. Press [SET/%]

The spooler is not connected


If you are getting an error message that states USER INTERVENTION REQUIRED or USE PRINTER OFFLINE, the printer driver may have become disabled. Please follow the directions below to resolve this issue.

Please note that the printer must be in an online state/Print mode.

WINDOWS 95/98/ME/NT/2000

1. Click on START, SETTINGS, and PRINTERS.

2. Highlight the icon of your printer with a single click.

3. Click on FILE.

4. The only check mark showing should be beside SET AS DEFAULT.

5. Ensure that there is no check mark beside PAUSE PRINTING or USE PRINTER OFFLINE.

6. Simply click on the check marks to remove it.

7. Try printing.

WINDOWS XP

1. (a. Click START select CONTROL PANEL and click on PRINTERS AND FAXES.
NOTE: If you cannot locate PRINTERS AND FAXES, Follow 1(b..
1. (b. Click START select CONTROL PANEL double click PRINTERS AND OTHER HARDWARE, and click on VIEW INSTALLED PRINTERS AND FAXES.

2. Highlight the icon of your printer with a single click.

3. Click on FILE.

Printer not printing


A little more basic info would be good....
1. PC - Operating system
2. Printer make and model (USB/LPT1)
3. Not printing what? As in PC does not see the printer, printer does not print colour etc...

New Ink cartridges registering as empty ...


Is it an HP printer? We had the same problem at work with print cartridges purchased at Staples. They have a major quality control problem. Your new print cartridge may be empty or dried out (died on the shelf). It's my problem at work, as I have over 80 HP deskjets, and Purchasing still insists on buying the Staples cartridges rather than the HP.

Sometimes if you shake a print cartridge really hard it may correct the problem. However, I would buy or borrow a black HP print cartridge and try it out in your printer. Works almost every time on the job. Good luck.
