Your system file is missing due to some reasons like virus, accidently deleted by users or any program or even it can be removed by transformer pack and you have uninstalled it, etc... Just insert the operating system instalation disk and follow the instrustion of it. In it when it prompt for repair just repair it. Do this with care as it may format your any drive if not know properly. I also suggest you to backup your full system or an important documents along with os into any removable drive so that you can restore at any time.

Google chrome appears when I open internet explorer not sure if i started to install but it states to download don't want it can't fine it in the control panel to unistall HELP

Chances are you have accidentally chose Google chrome as your default web browser. To correct this problem you need to run the actual internet explorer. you can find the program on your hard drive. it should be here:
C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe
when Internet Explorer (IE) opens up at the top it should see something similar to this:
avatar23454_11.jpg

Click yes.

If you don't see this message then press the alt button and move the mouse cursor to Tools then in the drop down menu select Internet options
avatar23454_12.jpg

go to the programs tab and click make default.
avatar23454_13.jpg

Then afterwards go to the control panel on the start menu and click it.

Choose add/remove programs or uninstall a program depending on what version of windows you have:
