You may have a fault on the main digital PCB, failing that, check that the HDMI connector is not damaged. If you need further help then call Fujitsu General 020 8 731 34322

I have a hdmi rca tv, unhooked the digital cable box for awhile went to hook it back up and can't get any channels scanning picks up nothing what should I have the setting set to? Hdmi set to cable

If you have a cable box the channels are selected via the cable box remote and the TV is set to an HDMI video input. The specific input is identified where the HDMI cable connects from the box.

Use the video input remote to select the HDMI for the cable box.

Scanning is for identifing the over the air stations that use the coax input noted as antenna (ANT IN) on the back of the set.

Hope this helps?

Cable box is plugged into denon's hdm1, but I can't get a picture. Hdm1 out monitor (arc) is plugged to TV hdm1 in (arc).

Power up all components. Select the HDMI 1 input on the Denon amp, and the HDMI 1 input on the TV. Additionally, run the old analog cables between the cable box and the TV. If no picture, select the input on the TV that is associated with the analog input from the cable box. You should have a picture at this point - but it will be a standard definition type. Check the settings on the cable box to change the output from "A / V" to Digital on the HDMI jack - if present. You may have better luck unplugging power / replugging in the cable box first - or calling the cable company if you can't find settings for this. Once you have the output of the cable box to HDMI, select HDMI on the TV. If you still don't have it working - try bypassing the Denon and go directly into the TV from the cable box. Try it with BOTH HDMI cables. Also - try different inputs and out puts (HDMI 2, HDMI 3, etc.). Discard any HDMI cable that fails to show video and play audio.

My Toshiba 62hm195 DLP HDTV's HDMI ports have been losing sound intermittently. Both HDMI ports while connected to multiple devices (HDTV cable box, Panasonic Streaming Player) lose sound intermittently...

Your problem is in the streaming player. It is not keeping up and when an HDMI loses connection it will not auto find it again. To verify this take the Panasonic out of the loop and see if this fixes it. I love HDMI but it is touchy

My sharp aquos TV Guide 46" model won't pick up hdmi connection from the cable box. I already tried changing the cables with no change. Any suggestions

Have you tried a different HDMI input on the TV? Are you sure you've selected the correct HDMI input? Make sure there are no component cables connected to the cable box. Occasionally that will disable the HDMI output.

Why is tv saying no signal?

Connect a known working DVD player by using a new HDMI cable to HDMI INPUT 1 and check for signal.
If you have a DISH or CABLE system box, connect that also with a new HDMI cable to HDMI input 2 or 3 and recheck for signal. Your T V remote will have an input selector to change between the different inputs on your
T V.

Turns on but blank screen just says no signal. Also blinking red light

If you have an lcd or modern thin screen tv, go into your menu and make sure your input selection is correct. If you're hooking up to a cable network, you will want to select the HDMI input coming from the cable box (HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc.). This is for the newer cable systems that have the HDMI cable plugged into the tv. If you have the older, bnc connection (round with a wire in it), you will have to select TV or the input.
If all of the input selections are in order, you could have a faulty cable, or a bad cable box. Try to swap the box out with another tv, if available, to verify if the box is, indeed good.
If you have a standard tv, check the cable box on another tv, also, and swap out the cord to check it, also.
Otherwise, if the cable box is good, and the cords are good, you may have a problem with the tv itself, in which case servicing will be required.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

CABLE BOX HDDVR IT's NOT WORKING WITH HDM1 in put. I have to use av1 source with 3 wire cable. Comcast tech saying it is tv problem.

Hello,
I am not with Comcast, but rather a much smaller family owned cable company.
You can check the user settings of the box to verify it is in the HDMI mode. Depending on what type of HDDVR you have that is.

For Motorola 62XX and 64XX models follow these steps to check.

1. make sure that your HDMI cable is connected to both the TV and the cable box.
2. Turn TV on, and verify it is on the proper input.
3. Turn cable box off.
4. Press menu button on remote or front of cable box.
5. A user settings menu will appear on the screen.
Note: if it did not appear you may have to connect another type of cables to continue.
6. Information displayed should be set to what your TV set is capable of. Most HDTV's will be set to the following:
16:9
1080i
480i
7. If you see additional HDMI settings as the forth item your TV and cable box are communicating across it, if not try unplugging both the TV and cable box and/or replacing the HDMI cable. Enter the additional settings by pressing the right arrow on the remote.
8. Change DVI to HDMI.
9. Press power to exit the user settings menu.
10. Turn cable box on, and switch TV to HDMI input if not already on it and see if the picture is coming in now.

Note: if you think that you messed up in the user settings you can always restore default settings by following steps 1 through 4 then press up arrow once and right arrow once.

I hope this helps you cable customers, as we appreciate your business unlike Dish and Direct!

Cheers!

JVC LCD TV (LT-42X688) input panel not working!

1. This TV has setting for the HDMI input that allows you to select the HDMI Audio or Analog(red/white wire) audio. Make sure this is correct

2. Most cable boxes are DVI not HDMI. If DVI then you actually do need to use those Red/white cables. If HDMI, refer back to #1.

3. The cable box has a setting to select the Audio output, HDMI (digital) or Analog(red/white cables). Just like #1, this has to be set.

4. Contact your cable company to help you set up the box correctly. JVC can probably help you check the TV

Amp freezes when tv channel is changed

Are you using the HDMI for video AND audio or just video? Are you using the reciever as the video switcher by routing your devices into the amp and then from the out of the amp to the TV and then back to the amp from the TV HDMI output and the digital output? You may have a loop going on and the amp can't handle it.
If you are coming out of the TV with both HDMI and digital hooked to the same input selection on the amp and have the amp set for auto signal select, it could be throwing the amp for a loop and causing it to freak. From what I can see in the specs for that amp it has 2 HDMI in for connecting a HiDef Sat/Cable box, a DVD or Blu-Ray player or a gaming console, and then 1 output to the TV. HDMI handles both audio and video. Disconnect the digital cable and just use the HDMI for both audio and video.
The optimal set up would be as follows:

With a cable or sat box with HDMI out, go to the HDMI input to the TV. From the TV use either HDMI OR digital to the amp, not both. If you have Blu-Ray or HDMI DVD, connect that to the other HDMI input on the TV.

If the TV has only 1 HDMI input then connect the Cable or Sat box to one of the amp HDMI inputs and the Blu-Ray/DVD to the other and then from the HDMI out to the HDMI in to the TV with NO audio cable from the TV to the amp. Then use the cable remote to change channels.

See if one of those connection maps works for you.

If you need more help, let me know. Include the TV model and the digital audio cable interface type, whether it is optical or coax. It would also help knowing if you are using a Satellite or Cable box and which one it is.

Cheers
