I have been asked too many times to down load my pictures to others. and i have always made excuses not to do i, until now. i was given a gadget to down load my pictures. which some of them are really good, I am not willing to down load my best ones, of course, still i want to protect my pictures. i have photoshop element 7, but i still can not do the task i want to do. and i am not really that good with computer and softwear that kind of stuff, and i do not really like to photoshop my photos, if i can avoid doing so.

Photoshop, or The GIMP (Graphical Image Manipulation Program, free via: http://www.gimp.org) or maybe Photoshop Elements.

Also, one of these packages should be able to "watermark" your images.

How do I put pictures on my Homepage?

The easiest way is to tranfer the picture's from the iPad to your computer, if your IPad does not offer you the opportunity to do it from that utility. Once the photo's are on your computer it is easy to upload the picture's to face book. Click on your name on facebook then you'll see ADD PHOTOS/VIDEOS click on that and a drop down list pops up that says upload photos/Video, click on that and it will take you to the location on your computer where your picture's are located then you selewct the picture's you want to post to or place on faacebook. If you hold down trhe ctrl key on your keyboard you can select more than one picture at a time to upload...it's real nsimple after that. I hope I have helped you and have a nice day.

I have two Seagate external drives but I dont' know how to set them up to do what I bought them for. 1. I want that plugged into my hub for my lap top all the time so it backs up automatically at least...

Hello,
You have number of options to implement this backup setup. If you are not interested in archived backup that you can't access without Restore option, then easiest solution is to use free Microsoft program SyncToy. SyncToy allows to copy, sync or echo files between folders. Setup is very easy and you need create pairs of folders for example pictures folder(s) on your laptop can be paired with pictures folder(s) on your new external drives. After you setup all needed folder pairs you can run backup manually.
To implement scheduled backup you will need to use another Microsoft Task Scheduler. you can find all the details in this blog

How do I download pictures from Samsung Focus to my PC?

You can either drag them into your collection when you connect it to your Zune software or the easiest way is when you take a picture, select share then upload to sky drive, then you can log in to your live account on any pc and just copy and paste or save as.

How do i put pictures from my computer onto facebook

Hi!

here's how:
Log in on facebook... click on profile....select Photos tab.. Click the "+ Create a Photo Album" button....Enter the name for the Album and click "Create Album"..... the best so far and the fastest to upload pictures to facebook is by using the "Simple Uploader... Click the :Try the simple uploader button, just under the "CANCEL" button....browse the picture from your PC, and select 5 of this to Upload. Check the box for terms of use and click Upload Photos...
That it.. its simple.

However, on some occasion this will not upload pictures with larger size....My suggestion to you is to download Image Resizer software... Install this software to your computer... To use this.. find your pictures and right click to it.. Click the resize picture and it will copy with a smaller size (pictures with 2mb will resize to almost 80 kb... then select all pictures with lesser size and let this be the one to be uploaded..

Hope this help.
Much appreciated if you rate this help.. thanks

Photos are out of sequence, summer mixed with winter, one event mixed in all other mixed events.

The camera just assigns names in numerical order (IMG1234, DSC5678, etc.). If you delete pictures or transfer some to your computer and leave gaps in the sequence, the camera will reuse the names. So your photos are out of sequence based on the filenames.

The easiest solution is to not let pictures accumulate in the camera. It's not a safe thing to anyway, since if something happens to the camera or its memory card you will lose all your pictures. When you finish shooting a bunch, upload them to your computer so you can file them. Change the names to something more meaningful than the simple camera-assigned number. Put them into folders so you can find all your trip to the beach photos easily. THEN BACK THEM UP ONTO A CD!!

If you have a whole bunch of pictures in the camera already and they are mixed up, you can upload them to your computer and use the software that came with the camera to organize them by photo date. You can also download applications such as Picasa to do it.

Resizing photo problem

You don't need to do anything. If they just want a disk, put the photos on a disk for them. If they want to print out at particular sizes, they will need software to do that.

Whatever you put on that CD, be it the unretouhced original, or something you have manipulated or cropeed etc, they will still be able to print it out at any size they want. The bigger they print it, the more chance of it looking "pixellated" or digital, but again, their problem not yours!

Hope this helps, if not, please reply and I will try to explain further.
