Question about Iomega Portable Hi-Speed USB 2.0 40GB, Silver Series 40 GB Hard Drive
It doesnt have anything on it important so i dont care if i format it. but i can't format it because it says error. it worked as an exFAT file but when i transfer data in the harddrive it doesnt accept it theres an error. please help me. is my hard drive totally broken? or does it have a chance?
Easiest way to do this go into windows control panel
You should be able to see the drive there
delete the partition then create the new partition under ntfs
Then format the hard drive and you should have a usable storage device now
Hope this helps
