Go to the manufactures website and download the drivers for your laptop or else you can try windows default drivers, which should give you some sound but not much, also you could try updating the drivers for the sound card using windows and let it search for the drivers for you. Control panel, system then device manager.
Go to your sound card right click to get the properties and under one of the sub menus you will see update driver.

Download the drivers from the computer maker's website or do a Google search for the audio drivers for your pc make and model. Most computer makers offer free download of the drivers.
