Question about Hampton Bay Dryers
I moved from england to here with the ceiling fan, and ceiling fan worked fine in england, and now here, ceiling fan will not spin very fast and light will not get very bright, and I replaced the bulb and it got bright. I NEED HELP!!!
In england the usual house current is 220 volts and here the current is 120volts. this explains the problem. unless there is a switch to change your fan to a 110 current built in it might make sense to buy a new fan and move on. rewiring it would be expensive and unless it has alot of sentimental value probably not worth it.
