When the power goes off during using the Wii system and shuts off, the Wii system has possibly over heated. This may be caused by poor ventilation or the vents may be blocked.
The system not power on is a general hardware failure message. In this particular case, his hardware failure is with the blu-ray drive. if the system is overheating, it will tell you so in the top right hand corner. It will say the system has overheated and is shutting down to avoid further damage.
Provide a proper vent for the system...

The Wii freezes during NBA 2K10 during the synchronizing NBA Today load.

You go to your Wii settings and turn off your internet so it's impossible to get to NBA Today. Then since the sychronizing part's gone you can play it.
P.S. plauing online won't work

Either the power supply (inside the wii) has gone bad or the power cords have gone bad. Try replacing the cords first and see if that fixes the problem (best thing to do is to borrow a friend's cords so you don't have to spend any money.) if that doesn't work, then it's an internal problem, at which point you should contact Nintendo and ask for a repair order.

My wii will not turn on

try syncing the wii and the remotes. there is a small red button on the wii covered by a small door. and as for the wii remote, there is a small red button where the batteries are located. hold them down for at least 10 seconds i would say and then try turning it on. good luck.

Child went to the future, flowers now gone in the present

I'm very sorry but you can't get it back. I advise not to go in the future at all. The oly reason to travel time is to make Gulliver appear more often. If you do this, go back a couple days

Lay the Wii down in the horizontal position. On the right hand side, as you look at the dvd slot, just before the label is a small philips screw. Undo this screw then, using your finger locating in the groove underneath the screw hole, pull the 'drawer' out and you will see a flat battery. This battery powers a chip that maintains all your settings including password.
Leave the battery out for a couple of hours, then replace it. You will then have to re-enter time date etc. and the password protection should be gone.

Master key for parental control in the nintendo wii this is my confirmation number 57495392

Go to and enter your confirmation number there, and select the Date that your Wii is showing.

(Note, this 5 digit Master key changes every day, and is also tied to the specific console, but if you go to the site I mentioned above, you can get the correct Master Key for your console, for whatever Today's date is. (Make sure your Wii is set to Today's date.))
