1996 Chrysler Sebring Convertible 2.4L SFI DOHC 4cyl

The MAP Sensor is located: Under hood, center, lower engine area, passenger side of engine, mounted behind alternator

No vehicle after 1995 has a code like that

PO40 & PO41

Google OBD2 Codes P0 40

Ask at the auto parts store when your
there buying it

The pressure and return lines connect the pump to the rack and pinion which is what the tie rod ends are connected to.
If the pressure hose is disconnected from the rack, you should have a threaded hole in the rack near the steering shaft with nothing connected to it.
On some models there is a short hose and a pressure sensor in the line that connects to the line to the pump.
Is that what you are talking about ?

You may have a bad map sensor or idle control sensor. You may need to adjust the idle itself.

remove the back seat, its between the seat back and the trunk area. There is a hydrolic cylinder there as well, check the fluid level.

Depending on the tightness of the socket fit and the engine, carefully pull the spark plug out of the bore



Hope this helps some...best that I can find!

Look at spending around 200-400 dollars to replace all the lines, and possibly calipers or wheel cylinders if the bleeder screws are rusted out also.
