Screen harness needs to be connected back to the logic board. It might got disconnected while the device fell down at any of the times if it did. Even the minor fells might cause such error. You need to get it open by it's special opening tools available online and get it plugged back in. Make sure there's no fractions or anyother damages that might cause it not to plug in so you get to purchase a new screen assembely available online as well.
