What type of refrigerant should be used in a Mitsubishi ms09tw 2001 air conditioner?

The answer is R410A.

Refrigerant Types in a Central Air Conditioner
There are 2 different types of air conditioning refrigerant currently used in residential cooling systems. R-22, commonly referred to a Freon and R410A, a blend considered to be more environmentally friendly, sometimes called Puron.

R410A (sometimes known as Puron), is the industry's choice to replace R-22 in central air conditioning systems. It is less reactive with the environment while having the same home cooling characteristics of R-22. R410A is not interchangeable with R-22-you choose one or the other and your air cooling equipment is designed to operate with it. When you purchase a R-410A system, a new line set is included with your central air installation as well as a new evaporator coil. Our experience with R-410A has been excellent. New cooling systems have been dependable and efficient, as well as operating quieter! R-410A is the refrigerant of the future!

Less reactive with the environment
Replaces R-22 in the year 2020
Cannot be used with R-22 systems
Quiet and dependable
Freon, R22, heat pump refrigerant
R-22 also known as Freon has been used for decades as the refrigerant in central air conditioning systems. However it has been linked to Ozone depletion and has therefore been banned from being manufactured after the year 2010. It's price will increase as the supply decreases.

Good luck,

My ac is not getting cold at all and i need to know if it may be low on freon

One quick way is if there is a sight glass on the liquid line or small copper line, you will see liquid freon in the glass.
This means there is freon, but you need to put a set of pressure guages on the system to be accurate.usually if your low on freon the system will freeze up and then afterwhile do nothing.

Suggest having a service person comeout to check the system for a proper amount of freon charge.

I need to know the correct high/low freon setting on an Inter-Therm 2.5 ton central unit with a Split System using R-22 @ 90 degree outside temp. Thanks

Listen the easiest way is to add freon on the low side until the line starts sweating. This is the quickest way to do it. The other way you have to know your wet bulb temp on the low side line the outside temp the inside temp at the intake and the ambient temp outside this is complicated and works no better than the sweat method i described.

Does anyone know how to add freon to a Amcor PCMB-12000 EH Portablle AC?

All i can tell you is the system is a sealed system and you need to install line taps on the suction line. It is the larger one on the compressor. Like i said before you can not buy R-22 with out an epa card. That is how you would charge the system, low side line tap.

High pressure air cond line has frost about 10 feet inside home

You have a low freon charge or a blockage in air flow. Check the filter if it is clean then there is a low freon charge in your system in which an a/c tech will be needed.

Good luck on repairs

Where do i find the port to recharge my ac in my 2001 ford focus? thanks!

Look and find the ac compressor and find the large line coming out of it.This is the low side line, follow it until you come to the low side ac port.It will be the small port, this is where you put the freon in the ac system.

Problem with central air condition

that depends on the size of the unit and lenght odf the line set.. to give you a general answer your suction pressure should be about 70 PSIG and you liquid line (small line) should be between 245-265 depending on the outdoor temp you will need a set of freon gauges to check this these readings are for an R-22 system if you have R-410a the readings will be much higher

Adding freon to my central air

Well duprees, first you got to have the right instrumentation for charge freon to a a/c system, now, the charge line is the thick line, wich it means the suction line, the colder line, or the most robust line on the compressor.
Then, the system uses freon 22, the right charge, with the system on and the compressor running is 68.5 to 70 psi.
This should give to you about 40 degrees(farenheit) at the evaporator, the panel that gets cold in the system.
This pressure should be at the low side, meaning thicker line in the compressor unit.
Hope this help you......

Good luck.......

Central air conditioning unit

the large tube. it should be very cold
and the high side should be very warm but not hot.
if very hot you are leaking and low on freon.
