If you want to carrier unlock your Nokia N73,you must use the unlock code to unlock your phone. There are large number of site providing the unlock code .I would suggest you to use the unlock code which is provided by the site ProUnlocking.com .You can get the unlock code from the site by providing some basic information about your phone like the country and the network to which the phone is locked. After providing this information you will get the unlock code via mail using the unlock code you can unlock your phone to use it with any other GSM network.

If its locked to Hutchinson 3G you can contact them if your the original registered owner only the owner can get the code as it requires loads of silly security questions. Only they can unlock it as requires Hutchinson to release the unlock code (normally about £20) entered on keypad +pw etc
Orange are a bit more flexible but requires £20 for fee most 2nd hand user can unlock it but must have an Orange pay and go sim for at least 3 months that sim is then required to unlock, works on all networks after.
T-Mobile again similar scenario but check.
Warning Some 3 (3G) locked phones once unlocked from Hutchinson 3G will work on T Mobile Vodafone etc but will not work on 3 (3G) at all. I know this is somewhat true but again theres more info available. I had an Orange Nokia N80 on Orange but unlocked it it works on all networks including 3
Finally there are high street or market place (BB5 Box etc) unlockers using test point jigs to unlock phones. requires opening the phone to gain access to inside CBA's then removing epoxy resin from CBA (circuit board assembly), and inserting test probe onto 3 points to unlock, somewhat risky and never cheap minimum £15 but expect to pay at least £25 to £50 model dependent.

SOURCE: How to unlocked nokia N73?
Your code's for the Vodafone network are:
You should try 7 first then 1, 2, 3...
You only get 5 goes, after that your phone needs to go to the phone clinic.
If you're on a different network let me know and I will give you the codes. I need the IMEI (I've got it) the country and network.
