You get white screen glow when the T-CON board on the LCD panel does not receive the +5dvc feeding it or it has blown fuse on the T-CON board, see picture of the T-CON board and the fuse here:

Look at the logic board to see if the ribbon cable may have come off the LCD panel or the logic board, also look to see if you can see any bad caps (leaking/bulging top).

Blue numbers on screen in the upper left. reset only helps for 5 sec.

The text reading on the screen is 772S L7025 AU M1 70ES05 and are always present over applications? If restoring factory defaults, changing resolution does not help then the monitor will need to be repaired, sorry.

Sylvania 780 wont stay on for more than 10 seconds than I have to press the on button again and it goes off after 10 secons again.

If you are going to DIY repair, please read below and look at the pictures in my albums.
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

I have a sylvania monitor model CL772B. The light is green and flashing after a power outage. The manual doesmnot describe this condition. There is no screen image. How can I correct the problem? If needed...

This seems to be issue with the Computer not the monitor. Check the monitor with different computer or you can check the monitor also. For this take out the monitor cable from the tower and turn on the monitor alone, if you get any message on the monitor screen it means that monitor is fine. Try this and let me know.

Kds model 780 monitor no signal, power button does not work

My monitor does the same thing at times and sometimes shows "No Signal" and at other times the screen will maintain the images but the backgound color switches to mustard yellow. In each of these cases I have been able to solve the problem by unplugging the power cord from the electical outlet for about three seconds and plugging it back in. I have a KDS model 780 LCD.
GOOD LUCK
