YCD060 is a Trane unit number not a carrier. Trane has a large guide for looking up approximate age of equipment. There is no date coded in the serial number, Trane does include a mfg date on most of the labels on later equipment, look for it on top or bottom corner of label if you can still read it otherwise I have the cuide at the office and will look it up this week. FYI our company is a TCS Trane dealer.
I think your last sentence there might be what the situation really is. Your not getting a reply back. Maybe you should check the response timeout the gateway has set on it for the slave. You probably already know a slave’s response
time can fluctuate wildly depending on the
nature of the request sent, so maybe the timeout
setting is too short? Its a place to start. .
