2008 h d rode king gas geage flasing emty (TANK FULL)

For a 2008 Touring bike with the ignition switch turned to IGNITION the fuel gauge is connected to +12 volts. Current flows through the gauge and the variable resistor in the fuel gauge sending unit to ground. The sending unit float controls the amount of resistance in the variable resistor. Inoperative gauges may be caused by several different circumstances: the sender or fuel gauge may not properly or sufficiently grounded; there may be a malfunction in the sender or in the fuel gauge; there may be a broken or disconnected wire from the ignition switch to the fuel gauge; there may be corroded connections at the fuel gauge.

Test the fuel gauge system by FIRST removing the gauge, THEN ground the fuel gauge sender Y/W wire located at the bottom of the gauge, turn the ignition switch to IGNITION and the fuel gauge must indicate FULL in which case it is functioning correctly in which case set a multimeter to the RXI scale and measure the resistance of the sending unit by placing one probe on (Y/W) and the other probe on the motorcycle ground or bare chassis point as a ground. If the fuel tank is full the reading should be 30-50 ohms while an empty tank should have a 240-260 ohm resistance value and a half full tank will be approximately 125-165 ohms. If a very high resistance or infinity is indicated on the meter, the sender may be "open" or not grounded. Check that the sender and the fuel tank are both grounded by placing one probe of a Multi-Meter on the sender flange and the other probe on the engine crankcase. The meter then must indicate one ohm or less. Replace the sender if one ohm or less was present and if a higher resistance is present, check for a poor connection on the ground wire.

If when the gauge did not indicate FULL when the fuel gauge sender Y/W wire was grounded with the ignition switch at IGNITION check the voltage to the (O/W) (+) and (BK) (-) wires of the fuel gauge connector and a correct reading will be equivalent to battery voltage. If battery voltage is not present check for a broken or disconnected wire. Replace gauge if wiring problem is not foun

Fuel gauge is pegged to empty on 09 street glide

Don't know if it's the same routine, but here's the troubleshooting for a 2009 Road King:

Disconnect harness from fuel gauge
Turn ignition switch to IGN. Check for voltage at terminal 1 of fuel gauge connector.

If no voltage, repair the break.

If voltage present, disconnect harness connector from speedometer.
Check for continuity between terminal 9 of speedometer connector and terminal 2 of fuel gauge connector.

If no continuity, repair the break

If there is continuity, check resistance to ground on yellow/white wire in speedometer connector.

If less then 10 Ohms, go to item #1
If more then 10 Ohms, go to item #2

item #1:
Disconnect the fuel pump/level sending connector from the sender.
Check for continuity between terminal "A" of the connector and ground.

If continuity is present, locate and repair short to ground.
If continuity is not present, replace the fuel level sender.

item #2:
Greater then 10 Ohms resistance:
Reconnect fuel gauge connector to the gauge.
Turn ignition switch to IGN.
Check for voltage on terminal "9" of the speedometer connector.

If voltage is present, replace the speedometer.
If voltage is not present, replace the fuel gauge.

Hope this helps!

Turns on but do not hear water going into dishwasher

Possible that the inlet valve is blocked at the filter end. You will need to check the voltage to the inlet valve,if present without any action then the valve is choked or faulty.- try to clean and reset.
If there is no voltage then the program controller unit is faulty.

Robinar Cooltech 342000 - on start up stops on the "Initalizing System" screen. Is there a reset procedure available?

You can try the following : 1# Check main 15 amp circuit breaker (located on back of the machine), reset the circuit breaker. If breaker tripped again after reset, the circuit breaker need to be replace.
2# Verify line voltage is present at input of main power switch & output at switch turn ON. If line voltage is not present at power switch input, check connections between power switch and AC plug. If line voltage is present at power switch input, but not at output with power switch turned ON, replace power switch.
3# If all proceeding steps tested OK & problem still exist, you may nee to replace The main control module.
Hope this will help you, if so please vote for it.

yeah you might get some voltage through the switch when you switch on the element you should get full voltage 230v if element does not heat change it

2000 Ram 1500 4x4 "no bus"

All the modules are connected together to communicate with each other via the PCI bus. It is possible that one of the modules is pulling the bus down. If the vehicle won't start it could be any one of the modules. It will be a process of elimination to find the faulty one by disconnecting them one at a time.

My dual xdm6820 doesnt turn on and theres a red binking light behind the face plate next to the reset button

Probably you are mising 1 voltage, check this you need to have 2 voltages ok,1 voltage has to be present on the yellow wire(constant voltage, means all the time,ok) and the second voltage on the red wire (this voltage has to be switched wiht the ignition key)check this and try to fix the problem, probably there is a fuse blown, you can use a tester light to check the 2 voltages.or if you dont want to do this just conect the yellow and red wires together and the unit has to turn on.

My car has a full charged battery and when i turn the key on to start the car all the dash lights come on like they are supposed too but the car does not turn over.

Try to start it in neutral. If it starts you have a bad neutral safety switch. If it doesn't use a 12 volt test light to check for voltage at the small solenoid wire at the starter while someone holds the key in cranking position. If voltage is present you have a bad starter. If no voltage is present check all battery connections and starter relay.

Sony KP-51HW40 51 in. Rear Projection turns blue

Hello......
First reduse the G2 voltage for the blue c.r.t,and watch if the unit works for longer period (offcource blue colour will be not present). After reducing G2 voltage to blue c.r.t still behaves the same than c.r.t is faulty and you have to replace.
Pls count the red led blinking when it goes off, incase it goes to std by mode.
