Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
I was trying to use the ps3 with an HDMI cable and I wasn't getting any sound. Do I actually need the cable that comes with the system to get sound or is there something else I nee to get sound?
It depends on the device that you are connecting to the HDMI Cable to. Some devices like LCD monitors are not designed to pull audio from the HDMI channel. In those cases you will need to use the Optical or Analog audio output. Note when you do this you wil need to change the settings in the audio setting option to select those outputs.
