Question about HP Pavilion dv1000 Notebook
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but its a motherboard issue. This is an extreamly common problem with these laptops. If you want to get it to boot start pulling screws out of the bottom case and press the power button it usually will start and you an recover your data. The computer will not last like that though.
