I have a Maestri ME-3G professional. The metal

I have a electric staple gun, Maestri ME-3G professional. The metal part that pushes the staples inside the front plate is stuck. It is not firing. I removed the front plate and i can see it all the way down. What can i do to get it firing the staples again or is there anywhere in London that will repair it for me? Thank you for your help. SOURCE: Staple Gun Troubleshooting

Most of the staple gun models lack an "anvil" — the metal plate with curved slots that office staplers use to bend the legs of the staple inwards and flattens them against the paper. Staples set with a staple gun retain their straight legs, and are held in place only by static friction of the legs against the compressed surrounding material, much like common nails. Indeed, some staple gun models can handle brads and nails as well as staples. Some staple guns also use divergent point staples where the legs twist as the staple drives into the surface providing superior holding power.

SOURCE: staple gun support

Know the types of staple guns available. They can be manual, electric, battery operated or run by compressed air with an air compressor. Some staple guns have guide wires because they’re used by electricians that can’t pierce wires. Others have long noses to work well in corners and tight spaces. There’s also a reverse built ergonomic staple gun called a "forward action" because the handle and the staple’s exit point are on the same end of the staple gun. Some staple guns can shoot brads instead of staples. Know how each type of staple gun works. This one is so simple because it works just like a stapler. You press and hold the silver latch on the back of the stapler to open the body. Take the tray out and fill it with staples. Then it’s ready to use. Just put the staple ejecting end on your piece to be stapled and squeeze it. There is also the forward action manual gun which is used by pushing the handle down, too. The handle is just located near the staple ejection site. Use an electric staple gun for effortless stapling. There’s no need to squeeze or apply any pressure on these guns. They come with a very short cord so you will always need to have an extension cord with your staple gun. You can also go with a rechargeable battery operated cordless staple gun. They are great but they do run out of steam so for long use one with a cord is better. They’re also pretty easy on the wallet these days, so there’s no reason to go without this in your home tool kit as it’s something that does a lot of jobs. Know the versatility of the staple gun. Whether you have a manual or an electric model, these are some of the most versatile tools out there. You can use them to recover furniture, to build a birdhouse, to staple lattice to a patio, to build lightweight projects like a small knick knack shelf and to do wiring work.

Open the chamber and drop the staples upright in to the chamber do not try to load the staples by placing them on the strip that pulls out as you do with most staple guns.

How to load staples?

    • 1 Push in the push rod plate on the back of the Arrow T50P and press down to unclip the push rod from the gun. Pull the push rod out of the staple channel and away from the staple gun.
    • 2 Insert a strip of staples into the channel with the tips of the staples pointing toward the bottom of the staple gun.
    • 3 Place the end of the push rod into the staple channel of the gun. The end of the push rod has a small, solid piece of metal that fits into the staple channel.
    • 4 Press the rod all the way into the staple gun until the rod plate engages in the notch at the rear of the gun.

I have recently been given a Powershot 8000 stapler and having trouble loading staples ,how does it load?

With the staple exit facing toward you (don't squeeze the handle), find the small black square at the bottom (opposite end) from staple exit. Grasp both sides. Pull away from gun (not down). Chamber will open.

Cant load staples t50 bn electric

There is a latch at the rear bottom of the gun at the back end of the chrome slider. Push it in a little enough to clear the little metal tab at the top of the latch and the pull the slider all the way out. This will give you access to the channel where you load the staples into.

Instruction book for Arrow ETF50P staple gun . lost the instructions and can't figure out how to insert the staples in the gun

Look at the rear of the stapler. Push in then down on the stapler tensioner to release it from the rear of the gun. Slide the tensioner out. Next slide the new staples over the rail and into the gun with points down. Slide the spring tensioner back in and connect it to the stapler by maneuvering its clip down and then up.

Don't know how to load staples in my powershot pro

Usually a black tab toward the back of the staple gun.
Push in, pull up and pull out.
Push rod, spring and assembly should slide out easily.
You can then reload as needed.

Push in, pull up and when the push rod bottoms out push down.
This usually locks the tab back in place. Do this a few times and you will get the feeling pretty quick.

Good luck!

Cannot load staples

At the back of the staple gun is a flat shaped metal piece. It's at the bottom. Push in, pull down, then pull the mechanism out. You'll see it's a metal rod with a spring, that is attached to that flat metal piece. The spring pushes against another flat metal piece, that has a hole in it, and travels back, and forth on the rod.

The flat metal piece that the spring pushes down the rod, pushes against the staples.

Remove this spring mechanism, slide the staples down the rails. The staples will be in the position of an upside down U. Replace the spring mechanism, and lock it back into place. (Push in, pull up)

Should, your question be in reference to the fact that you have staples loaded, but upon pressing the trigger nothing comes out:

In the front of the staple gun, is a flat metal piece that pushes down on the staples. One staple at a time. The flat metal piece is shoved down by spring pressure. The spring pressure is applied to the flat metal piece each time you squeeze the trigger. (Flat metal piece = Hammer)

Sometimes, Two staples try to come out. When they do, this flat metal hammer is stuck up in the gun. To free the flat metal hammer, remove the spring mechanism out of the back of the staple gun. (The spring mechanism discussed above) Remove any staples in the gun.
Try to use a flat blade screwdriver, and see if you can shove the flat metal hammer in the front of the gun -> UP.
(DO NOT have the staple gun pointing at your face! DO NOT squeeze the trigger! DO NOT use excessive force)

If this method is of no avail for you, you have to disassemble the gun, and remove the metal hammer, and stuck staple/s.
