How to get back off to put belt on samsung b1445s washing machine
The belt snapped on my Samsung B1445s washing machine.
I got into the machine by taking the lid off but can't see any panel at the back I could take off to fit the new belt. I could fit it from the top but the new belt's too tight so I need to get better access.

See if the motor has adjustment , ie a slotted fixing hole, slacken the fixing bolts slightly and motor may move up and down to give adjustment, put the belt on and then put some tension on the belt once fitted by moving the motor down and tightening the motor bolts at the same time.
Or if no adjustment put the belt on the motor spindle first and then the drum by turning the drum as the belt is eased onto it.

Hi,just food for thought,if you can hear the motor runing it could be that the belt has come off,it the belt attaches to the motor to the drum,so if its come off the motor will spin and the drum wont, there should be a entree on the back of the machine with some screws undo them and and you will see the back of the where the belt is.
Sounds like your belt snapped or come off try to open up the back and you should see the belt and pulleys just simply put the belt over the pulleys a little bit then turn pulley and belt will slip rite on
There can be a leak on the section where the hot water line inlet is connected. You can plug this hole using various types of fixers available in any hardware stores which can solve the issue.Removal and fitting back is the most important part as care must be taken to mark all parts removed..
First have the belt changed!!! It will only keep coming off.
Belts are not expensive- sorry I do not know how much yours would cost- and are easy to be changed by a competent person ( I am assuming your washer is front loading).
REMOVE POWER FROM THE MACHINE AND REMOVE THE BACK.
The motor support bolts should be loosened and the old belt removed. Often putting the new belt on is a bit of a struggle, even with the motor 'loose', because it is new and smaller!
Once on it should be tensioned by pulling the motor against the belt firmly- but not over tight- and the motor support bolts tightened.
ON NO ACCOUNT SHOULD ANY FORM OF LEVERAGE BE USED TO TENSION THE BELT. THAT COULD LEAD TO DAMAGE TO THE BELT, MOTOR AND BEARINGS- EXPENSIVE!
If this has assisted you please consider a 4 thumbs up for the rating.
Thanks and good luck!
I've had this problem before. It was a while ago but it was either a broken belt or the belt had slipped from the correct position and needed to be put back on. It was under warranty and a service tech fixed it.
If you hear the dryer motor turning, then you probably need to replace the belt. This isn't difficult, but does require taking cover panels off the back on most models. Open up the cover panels at the back and see if you can tell what's going on. If the belt snapped it should be very obvious.
Its on the back of machine and after you remove the back cover plate youll see that its very easy to install the new one.You shouldnt have to use any tools to put on the new belt.Just loop it around the motor pulley and around the large tub pulley that you see right in front of you.It may even appear to be too tight while your winding it on the pulleys but its not .
HAD THE SAME PROBLEM LAST WEEKEND! THE BELT HAS TO BE SO TIGHT TO GET THE WORK DONE
PUT THE BELT ON THE BUTTOM SMALL WHEEL OF THE MOTOR THEN YOU VERY SLOWLY PUT IT ON THE BIG WHEEL BY TURNING SIMOULTANISLY THE BIG WHEEL CLOCKWISE, IT SHOULD I YOU ARE CAREFULL POP_UP AFTER A SEMI TURN,THAN SLOWLY TURN WITH YOUR HANDS THE WEEL 2 OR 3 TIMES AROUND SO THE BELT CAN FIND ITS PLACE;
hOPE YOU GET IT DONE
