Question about Olympus DS-4000 Digital Voice Recorder
We have recently moved to the Vista OS and bought DS-4000 machines as they are Vista compatiable. The problem is every few days the device isnt recognised anymore even though it was working fine before. You then have to uninstall the device driver from device manager manually and when you then plug the device into the cradle again the driver is then reinstalled and it works again.
Then 2-3 days later you have to repeat this as the device wont be recognised again.
Make sure you have the latest update of the DSS Player Pro software. Check under Help > About Dictation Module. You should be using version 4.10.3. If not, download the latest version with the latest Vista drivers.
