Hi, I would suggest that you ask tech support assistance from Lenovo hotline to further assist you on this issue because this issue is what we call Customer Induce Damage(CID) and you'll be charge regarding this issue because your warranty doesnt include accidental damage like this one, but if you already purchase the Accidental Damage Plan (ADP) from Lenovo then they would fix your issue without any charge, so best thing to do if you dont have the ADP is to get it first. here's the number
US/Canada 1-800-426-7378,Australia 1-300-880-917. Hope it helps

Hello, I have a problem with my laptop. It is a Haier H51. My cat jumped on the keyboard yesterday and now my mousepad doesn't work anymore... I saw a small window in the topleft corner for a short time,...

That must be added to a newspaper headline. "Cat kills mouse pad". Sorry about that!
Usually whatever you do, keyboard wise, will be reset when you reboot.
Open control panel and select mouse. Adjust as you require.
Hope that fixes it.

Keyboard sticks .and also the mouse will jump into another

hi friend,
Erratic Mouse
  1. The solution for an erratic mouse involves going into the registry on Windows. Backup your registry files. Never make changes to the registry without doing this. Go back into the registry. Go to the editor. Locate the key phrase that reads: hkcu---control panel---mouse. Delete this line from the registry. Close the registry editor. Shut down your laptop. Wait for 5 minutes. Reboot your laptop. Windows will create a new registry key for you. This should solve any erratic mouse problems.
  2. Mouse Not Found on Laptop Boot Up
  3. The laptop mouse is plugged in. You boot up your PC. The mouse isn't found. Chances are the mouse cable came slightly unplugged. Unplug the mouse. Re-plug the mouse into the laptop port. The laptop should recognize the mouse. Reboot the laptop if it is still not working after you check the cable.
  4. Mouse Moving Slowly
  5. A laptop mouse that is moving slowly is probably dirty. This type of equipment is prone to collecting dust and dirt. It's like a magnet for dirt. The solution is to clean the laptop mouse. Unplug the laptop mouse from the computer. Remove dirt particles from the optical mouse with a pair of tweezers. Make certain the eye area is clear. A small piece of debris can cause an optical mouse to move slowly. Remove the ball from the mouse, for a standard mouse. Wipe the ball with rubbing alcohol. Wipe the inside of the mouse with a dry cotton swab. Remove all debris and dirt. Replace the ball.
  6. General Mouse Tips
  7. Clean the work area where you will use your laptop mouse. This will reduce the amount of dirt that collects in the mouse.

Work in areas that don't have high traffic for pets. Sitting with your pet cat or dog in your lap and using your laptop is not a good idea. The laptop mouse will attract and catch pet hair and dander, requiring you to clean it more frequently.

Wash your hands prior to using your laptop or your laptop mouse. This will keep the equipment cleaner to make it last longer. Less maintenance will be required for both the laptop and the laptop mouse.
jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); instructions for sticky keyboard: Step 1 Soak up spills immediately after they occur. This not only reduces the risk of damage, it prevents much of the fluid from spreading beneath the keys. Use a towel, cloth or anything else you have handy at the moment.
  • Step 2 Unplug the keyboard from the computer or disconnect the power supply if you are using a laptop keyboard. Make certain nothing else is connected to the keyboard and unplug any USB devices.
  • Step 3 Pop the keys off your keyboard using a dull knife or flathead screwdriver. Do this slowly and carefully to avoid damaging the keys or the keyboard.
  • Step 4 Place the keys in a bowl full of warm soapy water, and let them soak for 20 to 30 minutes. Dish detergent is effective at removing dirt, oil and stickiness.
  • Step 5 Use a damp, lint-free cloth to wipe the large areas of the keyboard. A cotton swab can be used in smaller spaces and around the edge of the keyboard.
  • Step 6 Set the keyboard aside, upside down, on a towel and leave it to dry for several hours. This will also allow any trapped fluid inside the keyboard to drain out.
  • Step 7 Wash off any remaining dirt, oil or debris from the keys. Use a cotton swab to clean inside of each key, if necessary. Rinse the keys very well with warm water and set them on a towel to dry.
  • Step 8 Replace the keys once the keyboard and keys are fully dry. If your keyboard is still sticky, fluid likely leaked deep inside the keyboard. You can attempt to clean the internal part of the keyboard by yourself, but this will void the warranty and risk further damage. Either purchase a new keyboard or send yours to the manufacturer for repair.
  • jQuery('.article ol .image').each(function(i,e){ var $this = jQuery(this); $this.find('img').error(function(){ jQuery(this).remove(); $this.remove(); }); }); Tips & Warnings
    • Using a can of pressurized air to clean your keyboard will remove any loose dirt and debris but will not get rid of stickiness or oil residue. Take a photo of your keyboard before removing the keys to make replacement easier.
    hope this helps u

Are you using an optical mouse? I suggest that you have to provide a mousepad since the laser of the mouse will have a hard time to read on its surface especially if you are using glossy surface of your table.

    trust me,it works!! =)

    Jumping mouse cursor

Elsamma, If you are positive keeping the cable stationary prevents the problem try this: Try holding the mouse connector stationary and wiggle the cable. If the problem occurs then the connection between the mouse connector/cable is defective, due to the low value of this mouse the fix would typically be replacing rather than repair. If that doesn?t work try wiggling the mouse connector where it plugs into the PC. If this causes the problem to reappear then either your mouse connector or the PC socket is damaged. Try another mouse and if the problem goes away, again the fix would be to replace the mouse. If a new mouse doesn?t fix the problem then there is a good chance the PS2 connector is damaged. At this point I would purchase a USB mouse which should solve your problem Let us know how things go and if you need any more assistance.
