Or to be even more precise, here's a quote:

"The value of the resistor is 30 ohms (orange, black, black, golden (or silver)."

The value of the resistor is 30 ohms (orange, black, black, golden (or silver).
I hope that helps you, but I suggest you that use a more powerful resistor, because it can blow again

Here is what one guy did

and Quote

[The Solution (for me):
Resistor R105 replaced by 30E (some Watts).
Removed C118 (was creating Shortcut for 12 Vdc) resistance after 7812(Q11) was only approx. 10E.
After this Scanner was working but after a scan there was always a white page.
Checked voltage after 7805(Q9), was only approx 2.5 Vdc. Replaced 7805 with a new one.
Now 5 Vdc is present again and Scanner runs again and is scanning as never before....]

Does anyone have the schematic of the RM1-4815 which is the low-voltage supplier board. Actually I just want to know the value of the R106. It has burned in my board. Thanks a lot

Hello;
You would be better suited to order a new power supply board such as the one listed below on eBay, as HP does not provide any real support for things such as this and it is probably /maybe a lot cheaper anyhow doing it this way! I know it seems like a waste of money for 1 stinkin' cheap resistor (if that's all it is) but what if the other part it is attached to that caused the burn out is nearly bad also?

What is system error 0B0006 on Hp design Jet plotter? I have replaced the power cable but no luck

The Trailing Cable has been incorrectly connected OR the fuse in the Electronics Module has been burned.

Corrective Action: Turn the Printer OFF and disconnect the trailing cable. Check that the ends of the Trailing Cable are flat and are not damaged or bent. Reconnect the Trailing Cable correctly, making sure it is pushed in firmly. Do the resistance test. Power ON the Printer and check if the Error Code disappears. If the Error Code continues, replace the Main Logic Board

Note: The logic board is a direct replacement for the Designjet 1050C Plus and 1055CM Plus. If the plotter you are repairing is the Designjet 1050C (not Plus) you will also need to replace the memory and the firmware.

If you are repairing a Designjet 1055CM (not Plus) you will have to replace the Hard Disk Drive also. The firmware is identical for the 1050C Plus and 1055CM Plus

Note: The aerosol fan is not used in the Designjet 1050C Plus or 1055CM Plus. Coil the cable out of the way or completely remove the fan.

WARNING TAKE CARE WHEN CONNECTING THE TRAILING CABLE TO THE ELECTRONICS MODULE OR CARRIAGE. INCORRECT INSTALLATION WILL BURN THE FUSE IN THE ELECTRONICS MODULE, CAUSING THE COMPLETE FAILURE AND REPLACEMENT OF THE LOGIC BOARD. 100 OHMS OR HIGHER MUST BE SEEN AT THE TEST POINTS. CONSULT THE SERVICE MANUAL FOR CORRECT PROCEDURE.

Continuable and Non-Continuable Error Codes

Some of the Error Codes are continuable, which means you can press Enter on the front-panel and continue working with the Printer. Non-Continuable Error Codes do not allow you to continue working with the Printer, in this case power the Printer OFF and ON again and see if the System Error disappears. If the Error Code reappears, then the Printer requires service in order to resolve the problem.

System error codes are hexa-decimal based numbers generally caused by internal system errors. Only try one recommended action at a time and check if the error code has disappeared.

Com1 port on a Zebra 105Sl not working, deleted & reloaded drivers still no go

Hello,

Sounds like you have a bad main logic board. Unfortunately, the interface is built into the logic bd thus having to replace the main logic board assembly.

Please contact me if you have any question or if a board is needed. I have them in stock right now and can offer to do it on exchange for you bad one.

Please let me know.

Thanks
