Need convertor for Dell Inspiron overseas?

I own a Dell Inspiron Mini 10-2863 laptop. I am planning to take it to Europe. Will I need a converter, or will I be ok with only adaptors for the plugs?

Hello there:
Yes you will need a adapter or a converter i spent several years over seas while in the military and i needed a converter for my laptop but most of the places that i stayed at offered them for about 10 dollars but you need to know that current that is going to be at the places that you are in and make sure to get the adapter or converter that covers a wide range of power ok?
Hope this is very helpful for you
Best regards and have a safe trip
Mike

Do as it suggests, if you can, backup your data. Purchase a new hdd, fit it, load windows, download all drivers from Dell and use a usb converter to copy files back from the faulty drive.

Connect Dell Mini with HDMI to VGA PC flat monitor

hi,
you would need an HDMI to VGA adapter. sometimes it would come in a form of a separate cable or just a regular adapter which would convert the HDMI end to VGA (the blue one that has 15 pins)
you can purchase these cables from your local computer store.
hope this helps

Problem printing from Dell Inspiron 1720 with Vista Home Premium to Epson Stylus Colour 1160 using Nikkai USB to Parallel Convertor. Cable supposed to be plug and play. Any pointers?

You pretty much said it when you mentioned "Other than buying the cable in the first place" I have never successfully used a USB to parallel converter cable on any system. My suggestion, asisde from getting a true USB printer, is a parallel port card

Dell Inspiron 2200 to Phillips 47 " TV

check this out http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/762913.html *A VGA connector and cable are used to carry analog video signals plus display and graphics data. The VGA is a 15-pin connector commonly found on laptops and other devices. With this port you need a PC-to-TV Convertor to connect laptop to TV. You simply plug the VGA cable from the source into the convertor, and use an S-Video or RCA cable out to the TV. The converter is USB powered, so there’s no external power adapter to carry around, making this laptop to TV connection entirely portable. you will need a seperate audio cable unless you are going to use your laptop's speakers
