If you want to change the boot just for one time press and hold F12 during the booting proces but if you want the computer to boot every time in USB mode you must press F2 to enter the bios setup, look for the boot priority option chnage save, exit and restar.

Enjoy

Tip

Speed up Windows Boot Time

Many people ask about Windows boot times and how to make your boot time shorter. This is a quick tip about how to eliminate some of the unneeded or unnecessary items from your Windows XP/Vista/7 boot time.

First, make sure that you are logged in with Administrator privileges.

Next, Click the Start Button (Windows logo button in Vista and 7) and then click Run. (In Vista and 7 you can just type into the search box under the Start button). Type "msconfig" (without the quote marks) and then click OK or press enter.

In the System Configuration Utility, click the Startup Tab and deselect all of the items. In the Services tab, check the box for Hide all Microsoft Services and then disable all the other items.

Now, you will need to reboot your computer after applying those changes and time the boot up. If the time is dramatically faster, then it is likely that one or more of the items in the Startup Utility are causing the lag in boot time.

Go back into MSCONFIG and go to the services tab. Re-Check a few items, apply the settings and reboot. MAKE SURE TO WRITE DOWN WHICH ITEMS YOU'VE RE-CHECKED. Now time the boot up process again. Continue this process of re-booting, timing, going into msconfig and checking a few items back, and rebooting and timing until you find the items that add significant time to your boot up process.

Once you've found those items that are adding time to your boot time, you will need to determine if the item is one you can leave unchecked - or if it is something that you may need to run during startup. If it is a critical program, you can try to get it to boot quicker by reinstalling the program or seeing if an update to the program will fix the issue.

Hope this information is useful!

Belta notebook usb/network booting windows system?

When you press the power button normally the boot options will display on the screen. Most times it is the F12 key to select the boot option. This is a temporary change only good for the current boot cycle.

Also most times the F2 key will get you into the Bios or System Setup where you can change the boot option and make it a permanent change.

It may be that the lithium battery is dead; usually a CR2032 button battery. Signs of CMOS Battery Failure Dom Tech Computer Blog

Go into the BIOS settings during initial power on boot up, often F10 or F2 are common. Check the date and time, if they are off, you should be able to temporarily boot by setting the date and time but you'll have to do it every time you boot. If the date and time is off, and you set the correct date and time and it still doesn't boot, you'll want to make sure it's booting to the correct drive.

When it doesn't boot, does it give you any error?
