Is the sound card enabled in the bios?
If so, then check up near the sound IC for either a dead IC (it will have burnt pins) or dead caps.

Also check in device manager to see if the drivers have been correctly installed for the soundcard.

Need drivers for motherboard

A motherboard doesn't use drivers. A operating system needs drivers for the hardware that is on the motherboard.

Drivers are defined by what the operating system is and if it's a 32bit or 64bit.

If you need the chipset driver for the Intel 945g, you can either get them from Intel or the MFG of the motherboard.

Pick the operating system on the intel page for the driver.

I can't find AGP aperture size in Integrated Peripherals

Hello the manual can be downloaded here:

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3471#manual

Adobe reader, is needed to read the content.

My advice is to install a better graphic card, on the mainboard.

The mainboard has PCI-e socket.

This will give a much better performance.

ATI/AMD makes very good graphic cards.

Good luck

What type of video card can I use on this motherboard? D945GZIS AGP? PCI? PCI EXPRESS?

Your MoBo has (1) of each PCI Express x1 & and PCI Express x16 slots, and (2) standard PCI slots. There are NO AGP bus slots on this board. You'd want to use buy a PCI Express x16 video card instead of a PCI video card due to the better performance offered by the PCI Express cards.
