The metal cover over the clutch is held on with a screw in the center. It takes a #15 or 20 TORX screwdriver. Once that is off you will see which way to take off the clutch. Good luck...Lee

Weedeater and Homelite shafts interchangeable?

Just give it a try. Some different brands will interchange. I have done this with a Toro and it is still running.

Pull rope brok on my weedeater i can"t get the clutch cover off to fix it

The clutch cover is usually held with a number of screws around the outside edge, you then need to remove the clutch, as the cover cannot come off with this in the way, there is normally a 9/16 or a 1/2 nut holding the clutch on, there will then be a large washer, then a tube through the clutch houseing as the clutch nut also holds the flywheel on.

I need to remove the clutch assembly from the shaft. Is there a special tool or technique I need to know about?

You will need to remove the bolt from the centre of the centrafugal clutch and remove it from the shaft with a flywheel puller. Good luck!

There is a cover that you loosen you pull back the handle then youll see a clamp I think its 5/16 loosen it will move but there is a thottle cable you have to loose off the thottle on thr carberator then it will slide off ,if it is a clutch ,the clutch has to be removed by the way of the the arrow then you can get to the rewind

Need to replace rope on a Poulan ppb 350 weedeater.

Is this a trimmer? Not aware of a tiller by this model number. if it is the trimmer the most likely problem you will encounter is removing the clutch drum to get the clutch off the crankshaft. There is a screw inside the tail if the drum.

Replacing pull cord on weedeater

there is another t20 screw in the neck of the drum. once removed you will expose the drive clutch. soak it good with WD40 then unscrew it from the shaft. if you have all the housing screws out, you should be able to simply remove the housing to expose the pull cord assembly, screwed to housing.

Replaced Poulan 25cc weedeater fuel lines/Now no start

You have/had a fuel filter in the tank. The connector goes to that filter, I think. The length does mean something but I don't know any way to figure it without a manual. You could try to figure from the total length. The fuel filter hold the line toward the bottom. Good luck.
