Air conditioning system, when you turn on the air conditioner the drivers side blows cold air and the passengers side blows hot air? What causes this problem?

The most common cause of this is that you have a stuck air temperature control blend door, this can be a motor actuator issue or a jammed door or both (common). To replace both parts you will need to completely remove the dash from the car to access the blend door.

Why is my dodge Dakota air conditioning compressor cycling on and off all the time? No cold air blowing

Possibly an faulty thermostat in the system or a blocked TX valve. have an accredited ac specialist shop test the operating pressures of the system

Compressor isnt getting single to turn on

Yes , usually the PCM / ECM - engine computer gives the relay a ground . But the PCM needs to see the correct inputs from the high an low pressure switches to do that ! You could have a bad switch . Look on the A/C system pipes for switches , with two wires each ! One side should have 5 volts , an the other side i'm not sure .

Air conditioning blows hot and cold air

You will need to know if the compressor is working when it blows hot air to proceed. It could be an electrical problem, a blend door problem, or the a/c clutch on the compressor.

My A/C in my 2004 Mercury Monterey isn't blowing cold air

Have the refrigerant pressure checked at an automotive repair shop or purchase a can of 134a refrigerant w/ a hose and pressure gauge included from your local automotive store (Walmart) and follow the directions on the can. It really is easy to check and recharge your air conditioner. Remember to wear safety glasses.

The air conditioning system will only blow cold air. Regardless of the mode, I can only get cold air. Can you give me an idea on how to fix the problem? Thanks Don 615-653-3834 drcamp117@comcast.net

The air conditioning is supposed to blow only cold air. Are you trying to get the heater to blow hot air? Make sure the temperature selector is in the hot position.

Air conditioner starts out blowing cold air, apparently actuator sticks causing the system to blow very hot air. Hours later a/c blows very cold air again, only to blow wry hot air again after about 30...

1.)If your System is OVERCHARGED this Will Occure due to the EVAPERATOR FREEZING UP
2.) Also if your HVAC Control Modual is Malfunctioning this will Aslo Cause this Condition, It Controls the BLEND DOORS that OPEN for COLD or HOT AIR Look Into these Items and Also Look Into wethrt the A/C Compressor Cycles OFF when it GETS OFF this Will POINT at the HVAC CONTROLER if it Cycles Off When Set For A/C or COLD Air

Air-conditioning

Low refrigerant charge or a sticking blender door. Check the suction line for temperature. A cold tube means that the charge is fine.
