Question about Philips 50PL9126D/37B 50" DLP TV
Thanks for using FixYa. This issue is caused due to a bad lamp and to resolve it the lamp should be replaced. If the sound was not working then it could have been something else however, as the sound is working so it means it is the lamp that has gone bad. It can be easily replaced, once you have the lamp from the above link you can open the back of the unit and replace it.
