Question about Haier ESA306 Air Conditioner

1 Answer

It's two years old, and is now spitting out lots of water.

Started making gurgling noises last night. Started it up this morning, and it's spewing more water than I've ever seen. The air filter was very dirty -- my bad -- so I cleaned that. Is there a water reservoir that needs to be emptied?

Should have a drain on the unit. Check for ports that have debris in them on the outside of the unit. Clean the debris out and the unit should drain normally.

Freezer gurgles

    • Give it mouth wash lol

Check the water valve on the back of the refrigerator if it has an ice maker. Make sure the valve is turned completely on and not constricting the flow of water to the refrigerator via the water supply line. You might also hear a simultaneous buzzing sound when the gurgling noise occurs. In some refrigerator models, this filling process is on a timer, and you might hear the buzzing and/or gurgling every 15 minutes or so.

    • Check the water supply line for leaks or damage. You might see a puddle of liquid on the floor. If air is pulled into the water line as the refrigerator is pulling in water, that can create a gurgling noise. Replace the damaged hose yourself, or contact an appliance repair technician for assistance

      • f he refrigerator to feel a slight vibration. This is probably the compressor processing the refrigerant, which is a liquid. This flow of refrigerant can produce a gurgling sound, and it is normal. However, a simple way to reduce this noise is to make fewer trips to the fridge. When you open the door, you let hot air in, which means the compressor has to work harder (and gurgle the refrigerant more) to cool things back down.

    • Wait while the refrigerator completes its defrosting cycle if you hear water dripping and gurgling in the freezer area. When the heating coil turns on, the melted water from the frost flows down to a drain pan for evaporation to take place. The defrost process usually takes about 30 minutes. This is automatic and cannot be prevented in most refrigerators. Keep the closed to try to prevent unnecessary frost buildup.

    • Wait while the water equalizes in the refrigerator if you hear a gurgling sound when shutting the door. This is normal and is a result of air being forced through the drain tube. The gurgling can last several seconds but should eventually dissipate this usually happens with old fridges upgrade its a good investment

My first of this pump (103260LF) lasted 10 years recirculating hot water in my residence before it started making lots of noise. I replaced it with an identical model, which lasted 3 years and now is...

It sounds like you may have some contamination in your system or just got a bad draw. You have a good brand of pump, check with the manufacture. If it were me I would get the old one rebuilt, switch and rebuild this one yielding you a spare, might handy when it is real cold outside.

First thing to do, is contact the old owner and ask him if he had an issue with this, if so how often he had to top up the system, etc, when you returned from your trip, was the gurgling noise when you turned the key off , it is normal on a hotengine to hear this noise when the engine has stoped as the coolant system is under pressure, and the noise is the water forcing its way back to the resovior, if it is overheating the expanding water will eventualy push its way out through the overflow off the resovoir, when cold check coolant level in radiator and resovoir, if these are ok then, have you heard the fan come on? How far does the temp gauge go up, also 33000 miles is not high for a12 year old bike

I own a Zenith ZW5000T8 that is a little over a year old. This morning it starting making a noise and spewing water. I hope there is something I can do to resolve this.

you can check to see if the unit is draining as it sounds as though it is clogged, usually if they make a noise like a fan blade hitting something then it froze(iced) up. If you think this happened unplug unit for about four hours and watch to see if water is continuously draining, if it is then it did freeze, if this is the case you will need to take the housing off and try cleaning the coils, this may help, if this is done and it still freezes then it is low on freon. Hope this helps tim

I have a one year old epson ex51 and was working great until last night. Since last night the fan noise has increased significantly. Does anyone know how to fix the fan noise?

Mine just started doing that too. I'm pretty sure the fan blades are rubbing against the casing. If you have had it for under a year, call and get it fixed, but if its over a year you're on your own. I nudged the fan with a metal hanger, and it has stopped making noise. I think eventually I'll need to take it apart and get a new fan for it that has better bearings.

sounds like the drain is clogged, it usually comes out if the outside of the unit just below the coil in the middle of the back, there may or may not be a hose attached to the front pan below the evaporator, try pressuring it up to blow it out. worst case you may have to remove from the window, disassemble and clean. hope this helps...

Rarely picture tube also shows the same symptom. High pitch sound is due to through deflection area LOT power supply is loaded. Compulsary horizontal output transister short. From your statement i think Lot puncture takes place. Change LOT and horizontal output transister and check tv is now working.
